Heart to Home Series: Chief Brody ❤️🏠

“About 1 and a half years ago, a rescue organization brought Brody to CAH. He was very sick with parvo disease. In helping to care for him, I became quite attached and submitted an application for him. We officially adopted him last fall and fell in love. At first, it was a little challenging to keep up with him - he is VERY active. He enjoys doggy day care, hikes, and swimming. He sure does keep us on our toes!”

Follow along with our Heart to Home series, where we highlight patients that found their forever home with a member of our staff!

Meet Me Monday 🐈‍⬛

Meet Hannah! Hannah has worked at Chadwell as a client service representative for over a year. She shares her home with her 5 black cats and is involved with TNR for community cats, including finding fosters and homes for many of them.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys concerts and trying new restaurants. She also loves a Baja Blast from Taco Bell.
Fun fact: all kittens are born with blue eyes that change color around 8 weeks old due to inactive pigment cells!

Happy Wildlife Wednessssday!

This young rat snake was brought in after being found stuck to a glue trap. Thankfully, with some gentle care, the snake was safely removed and able to be released the same day.
Not all critters are as lucky as this snake, though. Glue traps often lead to sad outcomes for whatever they catch. If you need traps, consider other humane alternatives.

Last Friday, some of our staff represented Chadwell at Relay for Life to help fundraise for the American Cancer Society. Whether it’s a family member, friend, coworker, or even ourself, we’ve all be affected by cancer. While it was a little rainy, we didn’t let that stop us from getting some laps in and enjoying the event! 💜
