We have someone who reached out to us and is trying to find homes for some babies. ❤️

“Hello!! I am hoping you may be able to help by sharing these kittens that are in desperate need of a home or foster before next weekend. They are in the town of Abingdon. 2 boys (grey and a mackerel tabby) 2 girls (a mackerel tabby and the black one) 10 weeks old. Any help to boost their post would be so appreciated!! Here’s a cute pic to help!!”

Hey Alley Cats!

We are selling this double decker cage. Only used twice for kittens. It’s great for pet rats and I’ve known people to use it for Guinea pigs too. 200. It’s sturdy and pretty heavy but we can take it apart to haul and it’s easy to put together.

Wasper (now Mochi) found her furever home!!!

Mochi looks right at home with her mom Alexis! Thank you Alexis and thank you to my mom for spreading the word so Alexis found her way to us.

Hello Alley Cats!

We have been doing a lot of thinking on how to make this post, how to word it, how to put it out there.

So I think it may be best to just say it.

We’re going to have to step away and regroup.

As some of you know, we’ve had a pretty intense year regarding our personal lives. From nearly losing a parent the month we opened to recently losing a niece from which our hearts will never heal and everything imaginable in between. It’s taken so much of our focus away from Alley Cat and we’ve run out of resources to continue to fund our vision.

We’re sad and exhausted but we know the best thing for everyone currently involved is to know when enough is enough and that we are no longer able to give it our all.

With that being said, we plan to keep the page running to help share information, connect community resources and post kitties that need homes when we can. We’re thankful for the community we’ve built and the connections we’ve made. It’s been amazing. And we appreciate each and every one of you!

I’m planning to hold a few adoption events upcoming as our wonderful kitties deserve their furever homes. I’ll also be posting some items for sale as well.

Thank you for your support of our vision and your continued love and support of us. It’s been really hard to watch my dream kind of whither away right before my eyes and be too engulfed in grief and stress to really be able to do anything else about it. I’m not a quitter by any means, but I know it wouldn’t be fair to the people who have believed in us or the kitties in our care if I insist that I go down with this ship instead of admitting that we are sinking.

Hey Alley Cats!

We recently had another member of our community reach out!
Just as we have to watch our fur babies cross the rainbow bridge, sometimes it’s the opposite and our pets have to grieve our loss.

That’s the case for these two handsome fellows.

Hairy is a grey 12 yr old neutered male with a very laidback personality.
Sq**rt is a 3 year old tabby on white neutered male.

Let’s help them find their furever home ❤️

Alfie snuck and ate ALL of his little brother Donnie’s food. RABBIT FOOD. Even though he had a perfectly good bowl of cat food.

Hey Alley Cats!
Someone reached out to us in an attempt to rehome these cuties. We are at cat-pacity and are unable to take them but that doesn’t mean we can’t help them find their fur-ever home! They are siblings but do not have to go together. The Siamese is a male and the grey tabby is a female. They are currently unaltered but their current fosters are willing to help with vet fees. We’re going to work on helping get them in and speutered in the meantime but wanted to make a post to see if we can get them placed ASAP.

They are good with other cats and so far good with dogs.
