🐾 NO NEW TREAT DROP TODAY… BUT DON’T WORRY! 🐾

We’re taking a little extra time behind the scenes this week, so there won’t be a new treat drop today. BUT… there are still plenty of your Pastry Paws favorites in stock and ready to go! ❤️🐾

And because I can’t keep a secret forever… here’s a little sneak peek at what we’ve been working on! 👀

Think 𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙢, 𝙘𝙤𝙯𝙮, 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙝-𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢-𝙩𝙝𝙚-𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙 of goodness… the kind of treat that just 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙡. 🍂

This new one is still in the works, but we’re hoping to have it ready and available within the next two weeks!

I’ll be sharing more sneak peeks as we get closer, so keep watching… you’re going to want to get your paws on this one! 🐾

In the meantime, stop by the stand at Boujee Mutt and grab some treats that are already waiting for your favorite four-legged taste tester!

📣𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀❤️🐾

Our friends at Boujee Mutt Self Serve Dog Wash & Spa are working on something truly special!! A program to help provide grooming services for dogs whose families may be going through a difficult season and could use a little extra help.

I absolutely love the heart behind this. Sometimes a little kindness and a helping hand can mean so much, not only to a family, but to the beloved pets who are a part of it. ❤️

She has a beautiful vision for this program, and now she needs our community to help make it possible!

Please take a moment to follow the Boujee Mutt page and keep an eye out as she shares more about the program and how you can get involved. The more people who know about it, the more dogs and families we can help. 🐾❤️

Let’s come together and support something that has the potential to make a real difference right here in our community!

🐾 𝗔 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗜𝗥𝗟 𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗦…

If you’ve bought a bag of treats from Pastry Paw’s Bakery, seen me at a vendor event, or followed along on this little adventure of mine, you probably know the name… but you may not know the story behind it.

So, let me introduce myself.

I’m Jandi, Kansas born and raised, and still right here in the Abilene area raising my own family. I’m a wife, mom to three daughters, dog mom to four dogs, and apparently a cat mom too… with a few kittens currently running around!

When I’m not working my regular 8-5, you’ll usually find me baking, crafting, cheering on kids from the sidelines, or working with my husband on our never-ending list of home renovations (I’m kidding… mostly 😆).

A couple of years ago, my family bought an old farm and we began the journey of becoming homesteaders. We’re learning as we go, trying to become a little more self-sufficient, and building something that we hope our family will enjoy for years to come.

And that’s actually where Pastry Paw’s Bakery began.

It started with a pumpkin patch.

I had more homegrown pumpkins than I knew what to do with and I hated the thought of letting good food go to waste. So I started experimenting in the kitchen, looking for ways to turn some of our homegrown produce into something my dogs could enjoy.

One experiment turned into another… and another… and somewhere along the way, Pastry Paw’s Bakery was born.

Today, we have 20+ flavors of homemade treats—and what started as a way to use up a little extra produce has turned into something I never expected.

My dogs are a huge part of the inspiration behind what I create. They are my taste testers, my critics, and occasionally the reason a batch doesn’t make it very far before disappearing. 😂

My family has also become a huge part of this little business. They help me at vendor events, cheer me on, and are some of my very best marketers. I truly couldn’t do this without them.

This first year hasn’t always been easy. There has been a LOT to learn about running a business, especially when it comes to the rules, regulations and hoops you have to jump through just to get a single recipe approved for sale. Add in being a mom, wife, and working a full-time job outside the home…there have definitely been days when I’ve wondered what in the world I signed myself up for.

There are late nights prepping for vendor shows. Early mornings in the kitchen. Hours spent baking, dehydrating, packaging and labeling treats just to have the shelves stocked for another week.

It can be exhausting.

But I also know that someday I’ll look back on these crazy, busy years and be incredibly thankful that I kept going. Because Pastry Paw’s is more than just a little dog treat business to me.

I chose the name Pastry Paw’s because I hope this little idea eventually grows into a full pet-friendly bakery—not just for dogs, but for cats too! 🐶🐱

My dream is to one day have a storefront where I can meet each and every one of your four-legged family members and spoil them with delicious, wholesome treats.

I want to celebrate their birthdays, gotcha days, milestones, and all those ordinary days that deserve a little something special.

I dream of a bakery filled with crunchy treats, soft treats, chews, pupcakes and cakes, toys and accessories… and someday, even goodies made especially for our feline friends.

I don’t know exactly how long it will take to get there, but I’m going to keep baking, keep learning, keep dreaming and keep building—one treat, one customer and one crazy busy week at a time. 🐾

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Every bag you purchase, every vendor event you stop by, every share, recommendation, picture of your pup enjoying their treats, and every kind word means more than you probably realize.

You’re not just supporting a small business.

You’re helping this Kansas girl build a dream from her own kitchen, her homegrown garden, her little farm and a whole lot of hard work. ❤️

And I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.

From our little homestead to your four-legged family… thank you for being here. 🐾❤️
