🎤We asked Dr. Gose to descibe this picture for facebook. 👨‍⚕️Dr. Gose: "This pet had a Salter Harris type 2 fracture of the femur, which means that the metaphyseal bone is fractured with displacement of the epiphysis from the metaphysis at the growth plate. This was repaired by cross-pinning the larger fragment that was displaced. Two smaller K-wires were placed to repair the cartilage flap caused by the trauma in hopes of limiting the devleopment of arthritis in the future."

In other words: "It was really broken, and he fixed it!"😆
