You Dirty Dog

ATTENTION CLIENTS:

Hello, after a lot of thought, I have made the difficult decision to close You Dirty Dog.

This was a decision that I have been struggling with for a while. Over the past 9 years, I have been privileged to be able to care for so many pets and getting to know my amazing clients.

While I am closing the shop in Abilene, I am not leaving grooming. I will continue grooming at Endless Pawsabilities in Salina. Even though it isn’t right in town, I would be honored to continue to groom your dogs there.

For clients that would like to follow me, please contact Endless Pawsabilities at (785) 404-6464 to schedule an appointment. Make sure to tell them that you’re one of my clients to ensure you will get on my schedule. You can also reach out to me via message at (785) 380-9472, though I am not the best at returning messages right away.

I will be honoring all appointments scheduled through June. However, I will not be taking any new appointments at You Dirty Dog. If you have a scheduled appointment after June, it will be cancelled.

Thank you so much for supporting my small business, trusting me with your dogs, and all the support you have given me. You Dirty Dog has been a huge part of my life and I am so grateful to all of my clients.

Hey everyone! I am so sorry that everything has been crazy lately. As most of you know, I have been suffering from hemiplegic migraines and it has caused me to not be able to work or look at screens as much. Luckily, the medication I am on seems to be working right now. I am ready to start booking pups regularly again. I will be opening up online booking again later today and will be able to return your messages in the next week. If you would like to make an appointment for your pup, please let me know. I have also decided to start taking on some new clients. If you have been on the waitlist, please contact the shop or book online.

Thank you to all of my wonderful clients and your pups for being so understanding. I do want all my clients to know that I do sometimes have migraines still and will not be able to work on those days. If that happens and you have an appointment scheduled, I will contact you to reschedule. Unfortunately, this type of migraine affects my vision and makes it impossible to work.

🐾 Dear Valued Clients,

I wanted to inform you that due to unforeseen health and life circumstances, I will be adjusting the schedule at You Dirty Dog. All current appointments will be cancelled to prepare for the following changes.

Starting next month, I will be open one day a week. I understand this change may be inconvenient, but I am committed to continuing to provide exceptional care for your furry friends.

To accommodate this change, I kindly ask that all clients move to a standing schedule. This will help manage my limited availability efficiently and ensure I can still serve you and your pets with the highest standards of grooming and care.

Please note that due to my reduced availability, I will only be able to retain a limited number of clients. I will prioritize those who are on a standing schedule and have been loyal supporters of the salon. If you would like to continue scheduling with us, please send the business a text message to discuss securing your spot.

I appreciate your understanding and loyalty during this time of transition. Thank you for entrusting me with your beloved pets. I love them all so much! 🐶💕

I hope all of my clients and their pups had a wonderful holiday and happy new year! I wanted to give a few updates on some changes for the salon that will be coming up in the next year. As many of you know, I have moved about an hour away. Because of this, I am changing my schedule a bit. I will only be in town 3 days a week. I will also be implementing a same-day cancellation/no-show fee. If you have any questions about my schedule or cancellation fee, please reach out. The easiest way to schedule an appointment is to set up a standing appointment or to book online. Here is the link to book online:

There will also be a price increase of 10% that went into effect January 1. Again, if you have any questions, please reach out. I look forward to spending another year pampering and loving your pets!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to give a few updates on the salon.

Spring is here which means we are booking up quickly! Right now, we are completely booked until April!

As most of you know, I am a one-woman-show. In order to not miss your message, I do not answer facebook messages or answer calls while grooming. You can call the salon number and leave a message. However, the best way to ensure I don't miss your message is to text the salon or book online. I try to check my text messages and confirm online appointments daily. I will return calls once a week. There is also the option of putting your pet on a reoccurring schedule.

To provide the best quality grooming and care to your pets, I am currently not accepting new clients. If you are new and would like to be added to our new client list, please call and leave a message with your pet's details and I will contact you when we have openings.

Some of our prices will be changing to keep up with industry standards and maintain the quality of products used. Like in every other business right now, our operating costs have increased. Most of these changes have already been implemented. Prices are dependent on many characteristics of your pet, so if you have any questions, please let me know.

We will also be charging a no-show fee for missed appointments. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be subject to a fee of 1/2 the service price before a pet can be rebooked. This has been our policy for awhile, but I wanted to make a public announcement. We will also be sending out new authorization forms to sign that include this policy when you book an appointment.

Lastly, I would like to thank all my customers for letting me care for your beloved pets. I love them all so much and am so thankful that you trust me with their care. I am so lucky that I get to do something I am passionate about and I truly enjoy getting to spend time with all my amazing pup-clients. They all bring so much joy to my life!

Thank you again, for supporting my business,
Cassie Bartlett

Attention You Dirty Dog customers:
The salon will be closed until December 7. As some of you may know, I injured my wrist. Unfortunately, we have also had a death in the family and we will not be returning calls until the 7th. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Please bear with us as we get everyone rescheduled. I have an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon Monday and I am hopeful that I will be able to groom next week. We are fortunate and thankful to have such wonderful and understanding clients.

For anyone who has left messages for appointments this week. I will be contacting everyone this weekend to schedule. I have had a family emergency and haven't had time this week to return calls. Everyone is well and thank you for understanding.

You Dirty Dog will be closed from July 1-12 for vacation. We will not be responding to any calls or messages until July 12. Thank you for understanding and giving us this time for our family. Have a safe and happy 4th! Remember to keep your pets inside during fireworks. We will see you and your pups soon!

Hello everyone! We are now completely booked until after our vacation. If you would like to make an appointment for after July 11, or be added to a cancellation list, you can leave us a message at (785)380-9472. Please remember that we do not answer calls while we are working on dogs. It is much easier to keep track of appointment requests via text message or online booking. So, if either of those are options available to you, we would appreciate if you contacted us that way. You can text us at the same phone number as above, or book online at:

Hello from You Dirty Dog! We have a few things going on and wanted to make all of our wonderful clients aware. The past 2 weeks we have been having issues with our phone and internet at the shop. If we haven't returned your call, we will be attempting to do so tomorrow. As of right now, we are completely booked until June 24th. If you have left a message, and you do not hear from us tomorrow, please call us again.

We would also like to inform you all that we will be closed from July 1st- July 11. We will be enjoying some family vacation time and therefore will not be returning any calls, messages, or confirming any online appointments during this time.

We hope all of our clients are enjoying this summer and staying cool!
