To those of you who have asked why we haven't posted any information regarding Darby. This message is for you and anyone who wishes to read to the end.
1. We at MJK Kennel truly are very sorry and feel horrible about Darby. It is not our intentions to loose anyone's dog for we know these pets are families babies. We guard, protect all pets as if they are own. There are times when they chew though our fences and get out. We've had dogs climb the fence and get out. These incidents do not depict our ability to care for anyone's pets. We fix the problem and press on.
We have put measures in place to prevent these incidents to the best of our ability. At no point in time have we ever left ones pet outside by their self. We always have and will be outside with your pet.
We do feel horrible when things happen. We loose sleep, feel heart broken we do hours and hours of looking. However , when one takes off like a wild jack rabbit its difficult to catch them.
We now have purchased trakers that will be placed on your pet anytime their are being boarded. If you wish to not have this collar on your pet, it must be put in writing and submitted to us prior to boarding.
With all this being said, I would like to expand on things that are never spoken of. When we know your pet is scared of thunder and lightening- we stay with them in the kennel. When we have been bitten by multiple pets, pooped on and have dogs that can be quite radical. We spend many hours with them until they feel safe. We've had to go to the the emergency room twice for dog bites but, we do not condemn anyone on social media as to what the dog has done.
We treat your pet as if they were our own and that people is the the honest truth. If you knew 1 thing about us its how much we love ours dogs. That is why we started this business. We knew how hard it was to board our dogs, even in a great facility. Wo wanted to open our home to board and take care of yours...
We will continue to do our BEST with your baby. I will ask- that is anyone wishes to discuss it, please feel free to stop by anytime after next Wed May 6th, and I will answer all your questions. But please, if you could be so kind as to not post comments that are not necessary on social media. Comments on social media are just a way to hide.
As for why we haven't posted anything on Facebook about the missing dog. I didnt find it necessary to repeat what the owner had already done otherwise we have done a post .
I thank you if you have read this entirely and as I have already stated please reach out if you have further questions and or comments.
