Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stringfellow’s, as they mourn the loss of Teddy. I had the honor or doing Teddy while I worked at PetSmart and having them follow me to Spaw. They are special family and both James and I are grateful to have groomed Teddy over the many wonderful years.❤️

🐶 The #1 mistake new puppy owners make… waiting too long for their first groom.

Puppies aren’t born knowing how to be groomed. The sounds of clippers, baths, nail trims, and brushing can be scary if they’ve never experienced it before.

When puppies start grooming early, they learn that it’s normal and safe. That means less fear, less stress, and a much happier dog during grooming as they grow up.

Early grooming helps puppies:
•Get comfortable being handled
•Learn patience during brushing and nail trims
•Prevent painful matting
•Grow into calm adult dogs during grooming

Think of it like taking a child to the dentist for the first time. The earlier the introduction, the easier it is for them later.

✨ A puppy’s first groom should be a positive introduction, not a scary experience.
