Today marks our Independence Day from British rule. Our Framers established our Constitution giving us freedoms, rights and liberties. Since that time, men and women have fought and died to protect those freedoms. Remember that when you're celebrating with friends and family today. Thank you God for Watching over our country. If you want to know why we're free today - look at the 400,000 headstones and 639 acres of Arlington National Cemetery and all of the thousands upon thousands of acres of other veterans' cemeteries and you'll know why. Never pass up an opportunity to thank a veteran. They are a big part of why you're standing there. I want to thank all of our veterans (& their families!) for their sacrifices and hard work in service to our country. I want to send a HUGE Heavenly hug and thank you to my dad who fought in Vietnam. I love you dad. You are one of the million reasons we are free today. HAPPY VETERANS DAY 💙 ❤️

The United States of America is the home of the free because of the brave. Remember these words today as you gather around with your friends and family for bbq's and trips to the lake. There are thousands of families out there who do not have the luxury to spend time with their loved ones because they died in action defending your freedoms. Remember the ones who have fallen and honor them because they made it possible for you to live in this great country.
