⭐️ Euathlus Golden Tarantula ⭐️

These tarantulas get their name from the gold tones on their legs!

✨Spend most of their time borrowed in the wild due to harsh conditions in the dry regions they originate from.
✨ Don’t spin webs but wait to ambush their prey!
✨ Their blood is copper based making it blue instead of red.
✨ Can regenerate lost legs when they molt.
✨ Females can live over 10 years!
✨ Due to their exoskeleton, they molt periodically to grow.

Three years ago, we took a leap of faith and moved into this building with a vision of what Caleb’s Aquatics could become with more room, a better location, and more for our customers. Looking back at these photos, it’s incredible to see just how far we’ve come.

Today, Caleb’s Aquatics is more than just a store—it’s a place where hobbyists of all kinds connect, learn, and share their passion for all kinds of animals. From the most knowledgeable keepers to beginners starting with their first animal or tank. Every tank, display, and improvement has been built with the goal of creating the best experience possible for our customers.

Why are planted tanks so popular?

Plants make aquariums more stable and more natural to a real world environment.

They naturally absorb ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, helping reduce waste and making your aquarium more forgiving.

Plants also release oxygen and support good bacteria in the tank.

Plants compete with algae for nutrients, so as the plant grows there is less for the algae to eat.
