He’s one of the tiniest we’ve ever produced. He’s a pound and a half at 4 months old.
Charting 2.5-3 pounds full grown.

Today, our last sweet baby boy went on a road trip, all the way to Alabama, with his new mommy. He has a new Maltese brother, and a precious human 4 year old sister, that he gets to give all of his kisses to.

Today, my heart is FULL, and I am reminded why I do what I do. 💙
Watching each baby grow, and find their perfect family is priceless!
His new name is “Tux” 😊

Good evening everyone…. So these 2 beautiful boys were produced here @ Southern Grace Yorkshire Terriers.
These guys are beautiful examples of the Kb gene.

Here’s a brief explanation…..

The KB gene in Yorkies is the dominant black gene, a rare genetic variation that overrides the typical black-and-tan pattern, resulting in a solid black or deep chocolate coat. This gene, known as the K-KB allele, prevents the expression of the agouti gene, which controls tan markings, meaning only one copy is needed for a solid color.

I personally LOVE Kb because they don’t fade like traditional yorkies.

These boys are brothers to the little guy I have left. He will look like this (with the non fading black) but parti (black and white).
