The number of Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers that have passed the AKC Master National ever.

Charger was one of FOUR who competed and passed just this year! The year of the Toller! 🦊

Thanks, Jen for your research 🫡

2026 AKC MASTER NATIONAL PASS • RIGHTFULLY EARNED 🏆

Water’s Edge Turbo Powered MH
“Charger”
Owned by Ritu Bala

Among some of the greatest retrievers in the nation, competing in Roseburg, Oregon, Charger persevered through five series of competitive, thoughtfully designed tests and came out with a pass. I couldn’t be prouder of this dog and what he accomplished this week.

Thank you, Ritu and Mark, for trusting me with your boy. It’s an honor to be part of his journey and to have the opportunity to bring home a plate with him.

This plate means so much more.

It represents the blood, sweat, tears, sacrifice, and countless hours that go into getting here. It represents the days when things come together and the days when they don’t. The setbacks, the doubts, the lessons, and the decision to keep showing up when the road gets hard.

This past week was a reminder of why we do what we do. The work matters. The dogs matter. And the journey, with all its ups and downs, is worth it.

Thank you to the Master National Retriever Club, the property owners who make this event possible, and our judges, Pat Taphorn and Liz Gibson, for the time and effort that go into putting on a test of this caliber.

One plate earned.
And after everything it took to get here, we’re just getting started. 🚀

All glory to God!
All of this wouldn’t be possible without my family and our team making things happen back at home.
