🧚🏽‍♀️📦 Our Fairy Cat Mother sent us another magical package! 🐾❤️

It’s been a while since we’ve seen our lovely Stephanie, but even from afar, we know her heart is still very much with us. ❤️

Stephanie is always so thoughtful about what our cats need, carefully picking out those much-needed — and sometimes incredibly hard-to-find — supplies and finding a way to get them all the way to us whenever she can.

And this package? Packed with love. 🥹❤️

The kittens received food, toys, blankets and treats, while we received enough dewormer to carry us through the year, along with so many other wonderful things that will make life at the rescue a little easier.

Thank you so much, Stephanie, for always thinking of our cats, loving them from afar, and believing in what we do. Your kindness travels across the miles and reminds us that we are never doing this alone. 🐾❤️

Our Fairy Cat Mother may be far away, but her magic keeps finding its way to Cat Cradle. ✨🧚🏽‍♀️📦

Thank you for being part of our Cat Cradle family, Stephanie. ❤️🐾

🧡 MEET SAFFY 🧡
Our little Saffron girl is ready for her second chance. 🥺🐾

Some of you may remember Saffy. We introduced this sweet girl before, and she was lucky enough to find a home last year. Sadly, her adoption didn’t work out, and Saffy found her way back to us. 💔

Recently, she went through another difficult chapter. Saffy developed a severe ear hematoma, causing blood and fluid to build up inside her ear. She needed surgery to drain and properly treat it. It wasn’t an easy journey, but our brave girl made it through.

Today, Saffy is healed, happy, and ready to start again. She has joined the cats at Tribal Blend Cat Cafe , where she’s proving to be a little adventurer and a kind-hearted explorer, happily discovering her surroundings and making new friends. 🐱☕️🐾

And yes… that little face comes with crossed eyes that make her even more adorable. 🥹 Her ear also looks different now after everything she went through — but we want you to remember something:

Different doesn’t mean less.
It doesn’t make her less beautiful, less lovable, or less deserving of a family.
If anything, it makes her stand out even more. ✨

Saffy has already had to start over once. We’re hoping this time, her story ends with a forever home. 🏡🧡

If you’re looking for a cat who is a little different, a little quirky, an adventurous explorer, and completely unique, maybe Saffy is the girl you’ve been waiting for. 🐾

📍 Saffy is available for adoption,
Please share her story and help us find her forever family. 🧡

🤍 MEET SNOWY 🤍

Snowy was left behind when his family moved away. Confused and alone, he wandered around the neighbourhood, going from home to home, simply looking for somewhere to belong.

A kind neighbour noticed this sweet boy and reached out to us. ❤️ Snowy came into our care, received his vaccinations, of course got neutered, and now… he’s ready for a fresh start. 🥹

✨ Snowy has officially joined the Cat Café family! ☕🐾

And he couldn’t be happier. Snowy is a young adult, around 3 years old, he absolutely LOVES people — he’s affectionate, gentle, and happiest when he has humans around to love.

Now all he needs is someone to give him what he’s been searching for all along: a forever home.🏡

Come meet Snowy at the Cat Café and give this beautiful boy a chance at his happily ever after. 🏡🐾

Snowy is waiting for you. 🥹

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Uniquely Paws for donating to feed our kitties for an entire month! 🥹🤍

They generously donated UGX 1,850,000ugx towards our food fund, helping us make sure our kitties have their bowls filled and their little bellies full. 🐾🥹

The last two months have been incredibly challenging for our shelter. With so many little lives depending on us every single day, and new kitties constantly coming under our care, there were moments when the weight of it all felt overwhelming.

And then came this beautiful act of kindness. ✨

Watching our cats and kittens happily eating, enjoying every bite, with full bowls and little content faces, honestly brought tears to our eyes. 🥹🐾

Because this isn’t just food. This is a whole month of full bellies. A whole month of not having to worry. A whole month of being able to breathe a little easier.

After such difficult months, your kindness feels like a little bit of magic. ✨🤍

Your generosity has lifted such a huge weight off our hearts and given us the comfort of knowing that, for the next month, our kitties will have their bowls filled. 🥹🤍

From every tiny kitty, every happy crunch and every purr… thank you Uniquely Paws , from the bottom of our hearts. 🤍🐱🐾

You have given us more than food. You have given us hope. 🥹

This little guy 😭❤️
We honestly don’t even know how he ended up here.
He had somehow gotten stuck in the tiny space between the backs of two houses — basically a little crevice between two walls with absolutely no way out.

Our neighbour had been hearing a kitten crying for several days and eventually went to investigate. That’s when he spotted this little guy stuck down there.
There was no way to reach him by hand, so he had to get creative — a plastic bag, a rope and a whole lot of patience later, this little one was finally pulled out. 😭

And let me tell you… this boy has A LOT to say. 😂
He has been meowing nonstop since he got out, and judging by how desperately he attacked his food, he was one very hungry little man.

We’re so grateful our neighbour didn’t ignore those little cries and took the time to figure out how to get him out.
He’s safe with us now, and we’ll be taking care of him and getting him settled.
For now, he’s already made one thing very clear:
He is a TALKER. 😂❤️
Now we just need a name for this little survivor. 🥹

What should we call him?

Happy adoption and a beautiful new life, Suki! 🥹❤️

We can already tell your humom absolutely adores you, and nothing makes us happier than seeing our little ones find a home where they are truly loved. 🐾

Go live your best life, sweet girl! You deserve every bit of happiness. ❤️🏡✨

PS: Suki’s brother and sister are still waiting for their forever home, could it be you??

Today, we want to celebrate and thank someone who has been an incredible part of our shelter family for many years — Dawn Murphy and her wonderful family from the UK. ❤️🐾

Every year, Dawn visits our shelter, volunteers her time, and brings much-needed supplies for our cats. Her generosity has always made such a difference. (Swipe pics to continue reading) 👉🏽

This year, Dawn couldn’t make the trip, but her husband, daughter and granddaughter came to visit and represent her. And, of course, they arrived with lots of goodies for the cats — formula, medicines, treats, blankets, toys and so much more.

But during their visit, they also saw the difficult reality we were facing.

We had taken in cats suffering from severe mite infestations while, at the same time, we were battling a devastating panleukopenia outbreak. They saw the emotional and financial strain this placed on us, and the heartbreak of losing vulnerable kittens to this horrible disease. 👉🏽

And then Dawn and her family stepped in. ❤️

They sponsored a complete month-long treatment for the cats suffering from mites, giving them the care they desperately needed.

But they didn’t stop there.

They sponsored a full vaccination programme for every cat in our care, including the FVRCP vaccine, which protects against panleukopenia, feline herpesvirus and calicivirus.

For years, we simply couldn’t afford FVRCP vaccines and were only able to provide rabies vaccinations. The cost was too high, and we had to make difficult choices.

Because of Dawn and her family, every cat currently in our care is now fully vaccinated. ❤️ 👉🏽

The photos we’re sharing show Dawn during her first visit (1,2 & 😎, her family, some of the supplies they donated, and the vaccination process for some of our cats.

Together, they tell a story of how much can change when someone chooses to step in and help. 👉🏽

Dawn and her family have been so much more than donors and volunteers. They have been an anchor for us — a source of strength when we were overwhelmed, a helping hand when we were struggling, and a reminder that we don’t have to carry this burden alone.👉🏽

Thank you doesn’t even begin to feel like enough. 👉🏽

Your kindness

Meet Nimbus, Suki & Fawn 🐾❤️

These three 4-month-old babies came to us unexpectedly after someone sent a boda to surrender them at the Cat Cafe. And just like that, they became part of the Cat Cradle family. 🥹

☁️ Nimbus — grey & white male
🐯 Suki — tabby female
🌿 Fawn — light tabby, slender female

They have now been fully vaccinated against rabies and cat flu, and after some time settling in and getting socialized, all three are happy, confident and ready for adoption! 🏡🐱

If you’re interested in giving Nimbus, Suki or Fawn a forever home, please reach out to us. ❤️

A little reminder: While we are always willing to help animals in need, please do not drop off or send animals to the Cat Cafe without contacting us first. The Cat Cafe is not a surrender or rescue drop-off point, and unexpected arrivals can put both the animals and our team in a difficult situation.

If you need help with a cat or kitten, are looking to surrender an animal, or have come across an animal in need of rescue, please contact Cat Cradle Rescue first. We can talk through the situation and see how best we can help.

Thank you for helping us help animals responsibly. 🐾❤️

Tonight, four tiny kittens arrived at Cat Cradle Rescue in a cardboard box.

The man who brought them said they had been hanging around his shop and that he no longer wanted them. They are only about 8 weeks old. (Just look at their faces, scared, sad & confused )

We asked for just one thing : to bring us their mother too. We offered to spay her for free and return her to him.

Sadly, he refused, believing she would stop hunting if she was spayed and will no longer serve her purpose around the shop. We explained that spaying doesn’t take away cats instinct—it simply prevents more unwanted litters of kittens destined to suffer.

We pleaded with him to let us help. We explained that somewhere, a mother cat would soon be desperately searching for her babies. We asked him to imagine if they were his own children.
His response was simple: Either we take the kittens without their mother, or he throws them away

Then he dropped the box and walked off.

So tonight, these four babies are safe. But our hearts are heavy because their mother is still out there.

This is why spaying matters. It prevents endless cycles of abandonment and suffering.

⭐️ These little ones are now old enough to begin their vaccinations, and we don’t want them to become another statistics. Panleukopenia is one of the deadliest diseases affecting kittens, but it is preventable through vaccination.

💉 Vaccination costs for each cat is UGX 80,000 /22usd
and we are looking for kind hearts willing to sponsor a vaccine—or even part of one—for these four babies.

If you’d like to help, please send us a message or donate to Cat Cradle Rescue.

Tonight, we saved four kittens.

We only wish we could have saved their mother too. 💔🐾
