A little throwback to Romania 🇷🇴

With our upcoming shows in Ukraine cancelled, I found myself looking back at some lovely moments from our trip to Transilvania Dog Show. This one with Hardy felt worth sharing 🤩

Watching his table examination again, I’m reminded of what I appreciate in judging: a calm approach, confident movements and a thorough assessment, with respect for the dog throughout.

As a breeder and handler, these moments stay with me just as much as the results.

A weekend to remember for Vena & Hardy in Romania 🇷🇴✨

Three days, five shows, different judges and strong Basenji competition. The very first weekend in Junior Class for Boaventura Bluemarine Miracle *Vena* turned into one we will definitely remember.

She stepped into the junior ring for the first time on Friday at Mureș Dog Show CACIB under Boris Chapiro (France) and came out with Junior CACIB • Best Junior • BOB, followed by a Top 6 shortlist in Best in Group.

And yes, that BOB came ahead of her own sire, Hardy *Quad Itapuca* who became Best Male • BOS. ❤️

That Junior CACIB was also Vena’s first step towards the International Junior Champion title, C.I.B.-J. ✔️

Saturday was Vena’s day. ✨
Two more rings at Dracula Dog Show, two more strong results.
Under Carla Molinari (Portugal): Best Junior • BOS
Under Tatjana Urek Jipping (Netherlands): Best Junior • BOS • Junior BOG 3rd Place

By Sunday we were already tired, but Vena clearly wasn’t. 😄

At Transilvania Dog Show CACIB, under Augustin Ionescu (Romania), Vena was again Best Junior • BOS, while Hardy took Best Male • BOB and later made the Top 4 shortlist in Best in Group.

At Transilvania CAC, under Gerard Jipping (Netherlands), Vena finished her weekend with Best Junior • BOS • Junior BOG 3rd Place.

And the best part: after this incredible first weekend in Junior Class, Vena officially became Junior Champion of Romania! 🇷🇴🏆

Five shows. Five Best Junior wins. One BOB. Two Junior BOG podiums. A Junior CACIB and her first Junior Champion title.

Quite a start to her junior career. ✨

There was one more reason to celebrate. Hardy competed only at the CACIB shows and completed his Romanian Grand Champion title. 🇷🇴🏆

A huge thank you to all the judges for their expertise and appreciation of our dogs. These results mean even more knowing they came in competition with other Basenjis throughout the weekend.

A new chapter for Vena begins✨

Today Boaventura Bluemarine Miracle officially became Junior Champion of Romania 🇷🇴

So proud of this young girl and very happy with the way she is growing, developing and gaining experience in the ring ❤️

There is still so much ahead - more shows and, hopefully, many beautiful moments together.

More info and all results soon 😉

Country house life with Basenjis: expectation vs reality 😂

When you move from an apartment to a house, you imagine your dogs spending their days on the terrace - soft beds, sunshine, fresh air… basically the perfect country life 🫶

And for the first few days, that’s exactly what it looks like 😌

Then you walk outside and discover that the terrace is apparently boring, the soft beds are completely overrated, and the lawn has already been professionally redesigned 😂

☑️ Expectation: relaxing on the terrace.
☑️ Reality: a freshly dug hole and four extremely happy Basenjis lying in the dirt 🤦‍♀️

Fury and her offspring - Vena, Boni & Cuba - decided that getting dirty was definitely the right mood❤️

Apparently, we had very different ideas about what country life should look like 😉

But judging by those faces… I think they won 🥰

❤️ Boaventura Bluemarine Miracle ❤️

A little throwback to Vena's show debut. ✨

At the National Dog Show in Bila Tserkva, Vena made her very first appearance in the ring and finished the day with:

🏆 Best in Show Puppy IV 🏆

Every first show is a big adventure for a young puppy. Watching Vena enjoy the ring with confidence made me incredibly proud😍

A heartfelt thank you to our handler, Мария Ващенко, for helping present Vena so beautifully in the ring. Your support made her very first show a wonderful experience. 🫶

This is only the beginning, and I'm excited to watch this little girl continue her journey 🤩

The best thing about 🌷 Bonita 🌷 isn’t something you can see in a photo. It’s simply who she is 💖

At 8 months old, Bonita is the kind of companion many families are looking for. She fits naturally into everyday life.

Raised as part of our family, Bonita loves being close to her people. She walks confidently on a lead, travels comfortably by car and easily adapts to new places.

🤩 At just 37 cm tall, she is compact and elegant. You’ll happily take her with you for coffee, weekend trips and holidays, then enjoy quiet evenings together at home.

Bonita is old enough to travel internationally and is ready to join her future family almost anywhere in the world 🌍

Another successful weekend for Hardy.

🏆 Best of Breed ×2
🏆 Reserve Best in Group V

Few things are more beautiful than watching a Basenji move as it should. Hardy does exactly that - long, free and effortless in motion. Balanced, athletic and impossible to overlook.

These results are a reflection of his quality, consistency, and everything I value in a Basenji.

I’m incredibly proud ❤️ of you, Hardy 🐾

💙 Bondoso 💙 made his show debut this weekend…

🏆 BEST in SHOW Puppy II

I’m proud of this result, but even more proud of the young dog he is becoming. ✨

From the very beginning, Bondoso has been raised as part of our family, experiencing everyday city life and regular car journeys.

🫶 New places, new people and new experiences have always been part of his everyday life.
At the end of every adventure, he’s happiest back on the sofa. 🏡

Watching him step into the show ring with confidence for the very first time was the best reward I could ask for.

Now it’s time for Bondoso to begin his next adventure with the family he’ll one day call his own.

❤️ Because I believe dogs are meant to share our lives, not simply live beside us.

Bonita’s morning routine:
peek out, say hi, steal hearts ☕🐾✨

Could your home be the one she’s waiting for? 🤎

19/05/2026

Tiny girl, huge personality ✨
🌷Bonita 🌷 is patiently waiting for someone to adore her as much as we do 🤩

She may be the smallest one…
but somehow she always becomes the center of attention ✨

🌷Bonita🌷 is growing into such a charming little basenji girl - playful, affectionate, funny and impossible not to kiss 🐾🩷

And yes… she still fits perfectly under one arm!

If Bonita feels like your kind of girl, send us a DM 😉🐾
