𝗔 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 – 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘆! 🌪️🐾❤️

Yesterday, our shelter was hit by a severe storm. Within a very short time, almost all of the trees on our property were knocked down. It was a frightening experience for everyone.

The most important thing is: 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲! 🙏🐶 Thankfully, none of them were injured, and despite the fallen trees, no major damage was caused. We are beyond grateful for that.

Today, Phai spent the entire day clearing away the fallen trees and debris to make the shelter safe again. It was a lot of hard work, but thanks to his dedication, we have already made great progress.

Thank you to everyone who keeps us and our dogs in your thoughts and supports our mission. Your kindness, encouragement, and generosity mean the world to us. ❤️

🌿 It was definitely time for this! 🌿

With the beginning of the rainy season, the grass around our shelter has absolutely exploded. 🌱 It was getting so high that we really needed to do something about it!

Luckily, we now have a new machine to help us tackle the tall grass. 💪 And our amazing team member Phai spent today mowing the entire shelter – putting in so much hard work and heart. ❤️

Now our furry friends can move around freely, play and relax again. Everyone is happy – and so are we! 🎉

A huge thank you to Phai for all his hard work and dedication! 🙏💚

Feeding Time 🍚, Cleaning 🧹 and so much more – every single day is filled with love, care, and plenty of work behind the scenes.

Our little residents count on us to make sure they are safe, healthy, and happy. And the best moment of the day? Seeing everyone with a full tummy, a happy heart, and a wagging tail. ❤️

A big hello from all of our Foodie Friends! 🐶🐱 They are sending lots of love and thank you for every bit of support, every kind word, and every helping hand.

Together, we create a place full of hope, care, and second chances – one day at a time. 🐾💚

🐾 Please keep your fingers crossed for our Hovis! ❤️

The past few days have been very worrying for us and our dear Hovis.

All of a sudden, Hovis became very lethargic and stopped eating. We immediately took him to the veterinary clinic, where blood tests unfortunately showed some worrying results. Hovis has been receiving treatment as an inpatient for several days now.

Thankfully, there is some cautious good news: Hovis is doing a little better. If his condition continues to improve, he will hopefully be able to return to the shelter tomorrow and go back to his group, who are surely already missing him.

We really hope that Hovis continues to recover and will soon be back to his old self. We will keep you updated and are grateful if you continue to follow him on his journey back to his familiar surroundings. 🍀🐶

Of course, his stay at the veterinary clinic has also resulted in high medical costs. If you would like to support Hovis and our other dogs, we would be very grateful for any donation, no matter how small. Your support helps us to ensure that our dogs receive the medical care they need.

Meet Billy 🐶

Billy’s story began in the most heartbreaking way. Many years ago, Pat found him lying in a field, covered in wounds, with half of one ear torn off and a large hole in his neck. He was in a terrible condition and fighting for his life.

Pat and Falko immediately brought him to the shelter, where Billy was finally given the chance to start over.

There, he found not only safety and care but also a family of dog friends. For many years, he lived happily with his little gang and truly enjoyed life. 🐾

Today, Billy is a very old dog. He has become frail, and his eyesight has almost completely faded. But one thing has never changed: he is surrounded by people who love him and care for him every single day. ❤️

Billy has found his favorite place, the kitchen, right in the heart of the shelter. There, in the middle of all the daily activity, he feels safe, loved, and content as he enjoys his well-deserved retirement. 🏡

Every dog deserves a second chance. Billy got his, and we are endlessly grateful for that. 🐾
