Hope everyone had a great Bank Holiday weekend.

Last month I was in Thailand at the WVS International Training Centre, where vets come together to develop lifesaving surgical skills.

Through our hands-on training courses, we’re helping veterinary professionals gain the confidence and experience they need to treat more animals and improve welfare in their communities.

And the best part? You can join us too.

Whether you're a vet looking to expand your skills or make a greater impact for animals, our courses are designed to help you do exactly that.

Getting the spotlight this Saturday: the incredible work of our Mission Rabies and WVS teams around the world 🌍🐾

Sterilisation and rabies vaccination go hand in hand when it comes to creating safer, healthier communities for both people and animals. By reducing uncontrolled breeding and stabilising dog populations, these programmes help prevent the spread of deadly diseases like rabies while improving overall animal welfare.

Last year alone, WVS sterilised more than 43,000 animals across its global programmes, supporting long-term population control and giving thousands of dogs a healthier future.

Through every vaccination, every spay and neuter procedure, and every community outreach effort, we can continue working towards a world where rabies is no longer a threat.

These initiatives are protecting lives, improving public health, and putting animal welfare at the heart of every mission.
