แมวดูปกติดี ก็อาจติดเชื้อ FIV ได้ 🐱
โดยเฉพาะน้องแมวที่ชอบออกนอกบ้าน ใช้ชีวิตนอกบ้านมาก่อน และไม่มีประวัติการรับวัคซีน

FIV หรือโรคเอดส์แมว อาจไม่แสดงอาการในช่วงแรก แต่เมื่อภูมิคุ้มกันอ่อนแอลง น้องอาจเริ่มป่วยบ่อย มีแผลในปาก น้ำหนักลด หรือมีพฤติกรรมเปลี่ยนไป

FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), also known as feline AIDS, may not cause noticeable symptoms in its early stages. As the immune system becomes weaker, your cat may start getting sick more often, develop mouth sores, lose weight, or show changes in behavior.

Check the 6 signs in the image and see if your cat is showing any of them. 👀

These symptoms can have many different causes. If you notice anything unusual, it’s best to bring your cat to a veterinarian to identify the cause don’t wait until they become seriously ill. 🩵

คันบ่อย เกาซ้ำ ๆ…อาจถึงเวลาหาสาเหตุให้ชัดขึ้นแล้ว 🐶🔍

อาการคัน ผิวแดง เลียตัวบ่อย หรือขนบางลง อาจเกิดได้จากหลายปัจจัย และบางครั้งสิ่งที่กระตุ้นอาการก็ไม่ได้สังเกตเห็นได้ง่ายจากภายนอก

เพราะเรื่องผิวหนัง บางครั้ง “เดา” อย่างเดียวอาจไม่พอ 👀🐾

Skin Test เป็นอีกหนึ่งวิธีที่สัตวแพทย์ใช้ช่วยประเมินการตอบสนองของผิวหนังต่อสารก่อภูมิแพ้ เพื่อประกอบการหาสาเหตุและวางแนวทางดูแลให้เหมาะกับน้องแต่ละตัว

หลังฝนตกหรือน้ำท่วม พื้นถนนและแอ่งน้ำที่ดูธรรมดา อาจมีเชื้อโรคปนเปื้อนอยู่ได้ หนึ่งในนั้นคือ โรคฉี่หนู (Leptospirosis) ที่ควรระวังในช่วงหน้าฝน

เปียกนิดเดียว อาจไม่ใช่เรื่องเล็กเสมอไป 👀💧
โดยเฉพาะถ้าน้องชอบเดินลุยน้ำ ดมพื้น หรือเล่นตามพื้นที่ชื้น ๆ ช่วงนี้ยิ่งควรใส่ใจเรื่องความสะอาดหลังกลับบ้าน

เช็ดตัว ล้างอุ้งเท้าให้สะอาด และคอยสังเกตความเปลี่ยนแปลงของน้องในช่วงหลังจากนั้น 🐾
หากเริ่มดูไม่สดใสหรือมีอาการผิดปกติ อย่ารอให้อาการหนัก พาน้องมาให้คุณหมอช่วยประเมินได้เลย 💙

After heavy rain or flooding, ordinary looking roads and puddles may contain harmful contaminants. One of the diseases to watch out for during the rainy season is Leptospirosis.

A little splash may not always be harmless. 👀💧
If your pet loves walking through puddles, sniffing wet ground, or playing in damp areas, it’s especially important to keep them clean after coming home.
