Little Cat we Love!

He jumped onto the scooter as soon as pulling up as if saying "take me home'" 😭 We want to so badly.

The employees at the restaurant next door say he hangs around and they feed him. The warehouse also keeps a window open so he stays in there at night. Seems like he's being cared for by the community. We come by at night to feed, play, and cuddle.

No name yet, but considering naming him Vinnie or Vy since he looks like our Vinfast scooter. His face marking looks like a V. Vy is a popular Vietnamese name meaning small and precious and is primarily for females.

We love him very much!

Please send extra love and healing energy to Nern, aka Crinkles, one of our favorite kitties in the world.

She belongs to our good friend in Chiang Mai. We stay with him when we aren't housesitting. Nern always comes in our room for cuddles and warmth. She's lost a weight and energy over the years and has been diagnosed with FIV, which weakens the immune system like HIV/AIDS.

She is very loved and getting the care she needs. We miss her so much! Such a sweet, gentle beautiful soul 💜

Excited to have finished training at Paws for Compassion! This rescue shelter is super organized with dozens of volunteers keeping it going. The cats are well taken care of with individual attention and love. All of them are adoptable and looking for homes.

For a few hours a week, we will be taking on the therapy shift where we feed the 32 cats their lunch, play, and give some massages and range of motion exercises with the handicapped cats. We already learned most of their names and are falling in love with them! They all have unique personalities of course.

We're looking forward to getting to know the cats, but hope they all will get adopted to loving homes eventually. While we have experience caring for many kinds of cats of all ages, this is the first time caring for handicapped and blind cats. We've learned a lot and will continue to do so. This experience will help with our future petsits as well.

Please check out .vn to donate or inquire about adoption! We're impressed with the organization and passion from the volunteers we met so far.

Adam and I both got locked out of our Facebook accounts due to AI bots? Perhaps because we log in from different countries every few months? I can post this on IG to be automatically uploaded to Facebook, but I can't access the page nor receive messages.

In the meantime, please reach out to us at

Anyway here is the sweet little cat. He seems to be somewhat taken care of by people who work at the warehouse. The security guard said he was extremely frail when he first showed up, but now look at how healthy he looks! They also leave the window open so he can go in and out; I hope they leave him food and water. At least he doesn't have to be out in the rain. He still seems really hungry and starved for attention. We love him so much and feel better knowing he's being looked after 💜

Encountered a mother and two kitties at a restaurant. The kittens were pouncing on her tail and she got fed up and hissed at them. We spoiled the mom with massages to give her a break from the kids 😹

We are doomed with how much we love him. Landlord already said no to cats, even temporary fosters 😔

Looking for a loving home for him. With his playful energy, I don't think an apartment is the best environment for him though as he probably is better off as an outdoor cat.

Thank you for the review, Rosana! We got to know each other for a few weeks before the sit since we were housesitting for the next door neighbor. We shared meals and conversations which was nice 😊 Miko and Kuro are very well loved!

We love him so much and fantasized about keeping him. It's really not practical for us given our unstable lifestyle, but we thought about extending our stay in Danang and then having housesitters come while we go back to Thailand.

We thought to ourselves that we wouldn't feel comfortable with petsitters unless they were like us 😂

We don't want to toot our own horn, but we do think we are trustworthy house and petsitters who go above and beyond and truly have your pet and home as the priority. It made us feel confident in the value of peace of mind that we bring to pet parents. We are grateful for all of the hosts who have trusted us with their homes and pets!

Still visiting the unnamed street kitten every day. He's usually not there in the morning; only in the evening.

Tet holidays are over and shops are opening back up. The offices and warehouses in the area are open so more people were outside where he hangs out.

On my run, I passed the area and he ran up to me. I hung out with him and called Adam to come with food. He was so hungry 😢 I asked people who worked in the warehouse if he belongs to anyone and they said no. The food, box and toys we left were gone so people just throw things away 😢

I reached out to a rescue organization and local pet Facebook group for advice. The shelters are full and it's difficult to find homes for cats here. We're not sure what to do. If the landlord permits, we'd love to keep him temporarily while we bring him to the vet and try to find a permanent home. But when our visa expires, we will have to move on and then what would we do?

We don't have a permanent home base and it's not practical to keep traveling with him. For now, we'll keep feeding him until we figure something out.

Also, last night another smaller kitten appeared! He was too scared to approach humans. They don't appear to be related as this kitten is half his size.

Days 3 and 4 visiting the adorable unnamed kitty that captured our hearts!

He's become more relaxed and playful. He's hungry when we come and eats everything up, but he's not as ravenous as the first two days. Tonight, there was a plate of rice out for him which means someone noticed and fed him - a good sign. Rice isn't good for cats but perhaps he already ate the meat and that was leftover.

We brought him a box and birdie as a toy which he played with a bunch! First time seeing him run around with zoomies and playful energy 🥰 He also slept and cuddled on us.

Still figuring out what to do. We haven't had a situation like this before and we're new around here so don't have contacts yet, but we will be sure to figure out a way for him to be in a safe and loving home!

The first picture is of him under the truck where he always is when we pull up 🥺

Is he what causes us to live in Danang for the next 15 years? We're so tempted to keep him 😭

We walked up the street and he came running up to us meowing desperately. He gobbled up all of the food and then cuddled up on us both, which he didn't do yesterday. He even made biscuits with his lil pink beans! He's so affectionate and loving. Must be cold out there 😢

We don't have the landlord's permission to have a cat yet so not sure what to do. Hoping that he's just alone now because his family left for the Tet holidays and they'll be back next week. We'll continue visiting him every night and see about getting him to a shelter or family if he continues being there alone for a while. Look how cute he is!
