They bloom, and before you even have a chance to catch your breath, the season changes.
When you bring them home, they’re just tiny, fragile buds—all soft paws, warm bellies, and endless curiosity. You spend your days watching them learn the world, taking a thousand photos, thinking you have all the time in the world to freeze those little moments. But just like a real flower, a dog’s life moves on nature’s fast-forward button. One day you’re carrying them up the stairs because their legs are too short, and the next, they’re fully grown, stepping into their full bloom right before your eyes.
Their growth is a gentle reminder of how fleeting everything beautiful really is. They grow fast, they age quickly, and their time with us feels far too short. But maybe that’s the whole point. Knowing how quickly the time passes forces you to stop, put down your phone, and just be with them. It teaches you to love every single stage—from the wild puppy years to the quiet, gray-muzzled days.
