Make a Donation, Help Prevent Suffering❤️‍🩹

Through our organization, we encounter dogs living on the streets, facing hunger, disease, injuries, and endless litters of puppies.
We believe that sterilization is one of the most powerful ways to break this cycle and prevent even more animals from suffering.
We’re now preparing our next spay & neuter campaign, and we need your help to make it happen. ❤️

The veterinary team is ready.
The supplies are ready.
The food and care are ready.
What we’re missing is the funding.

Even €1 or €2 can make a difference. When many people come together, small donations can turn into surgeries, treatments and, ultimately, fewer dogs born into a life on the streets.
We don’t often ask for financial support, but this time, we truly need you.

One donation = one step closer to a life with less suffering.

If you can help, even with just a few euros, we would be incredibly grateful.
And if you can’t donate, sharing this post is already a huge help. ❤️
Together, we can make a difference

Want to help? We need you! 🚗🐾

If you plan to go back to Košice by car and have some extra space to bring donations with you, contact us!

Maxi Zoo France donated a lot of dog food. Kibbles, wet food, treats: everything we need for this new season of rescue. A huge thank you to them. 💙🤍

We now need to transport it to Slovakia and that's where you can help us. 🇫🇷🇸🇰

Documentary made by Vivien Dagron during his volunteer work with Paws Rescue Ke.

Let’s discover the Roma culture. During my semester in Slovakia, helping pawrescue association I met this culture and learnt a lot of things, I wanted to share this. I wanted to point out that Roma culture is very beautiful and that the differences can bring more positive than negative.
DISCLAIMER : The opinions expressed in this video are mine (Vivien DAGRON), and those of the interwiewed individuals and do not represent the view of the romathan theatre as an institution.
Special thanks to all pawrescue association with Chloé Lottier, Anne-Sophie Brunet, Mahault Moreuil , Margerie Prat they’ve made me discover their association, they’ve helped me a lot in this work, gave me some vidéos, and a lot more… To Emma Gira for the traduction and speaking in Slovak during the interwiews. To Airi for the informations and traduction. To the Romathan theatre with Michala Hadušovska, Dominika Moravčíková who allowed me to go to the theatre and do the interwiew and Marián Balog, Ján Goroľ and Gejza Vaňo for the interwiews. To Antoine de Hertogh (ETP Slovensko) for the discussion and interwiew. To Clara Arbeaumont who helped me in this work.

Adopting a rescue dog comes with one essential truth: time changes everything 🌱

Have you heard of the 3-3-3 rule?

💙 3 days to decompress
Your dog may feel overwhelmed, scared, or unsure. Give them space and let them settle at their own pace.

💙 3 weeks to start adjusting
They begin to learn your routine, feel a bit more comfortable, and show glimpses of their personality.

💙 3 months to truly feel at home
Trust builds, bonds grow, and their true self shines through.

Every dog is different, some need more time, some less. What matters most is love, consistency, and patience.

Thank you for giving them the second chance they deserve 🫶🏻

What are your donations used for?

We see every single donation, and it truly makes a difference. Without this support, the organization simply couldn’t run. Here’s why:

• Neutering: This has the biggest impact on controlling the stray population. Our partner vets offer reduced prices, but there are still costs to cover. Every neutering we carry out is only possible thanks to your donations.

• Veterinary care: Adoption fees are fixed depending on the dog (age, s*x, whether they are neutered or not). When a dog needs additional or unexpected medical care, these costs are not covered by the adoption fee, this is where your donations are essential.

• Special cases: Sometimes, dogs in very poor health or fragile mental states (like Sirius) are placed as “zero-fee” dogs to ensure they can be adopted quickly into the right family instead of staying in a shelter. These cases often require ongoing and expensive care, fully supported by donations.

Your support directly allows us to keep helping these dogs. 🐾
