On Sunday, we attended the Sighthound Club Show in Slovakia under the KCHCH club. Alaska is not a big fan of dog shows, and running on the field is definitely a better activity for her. In the working class, it is not always a given that the judge will award the CAC title, even when the number of entries in the class is low. That is why I appreciate it so much, and I was absolutely thrilled when we walked out of the ring with a beautiful critique and a rosette for the CAC title.
And then it happened. In main ring ๐BEST IN SHOW WORKING ๐
For a dog without a pure show pedigree, this is a huge success.
But what she has achieved is truly incredible, and I might get a little emotional here.
When we planned this pairing of Iris and Vegas, I believed it would be special, that I was doing it for the next and better generation of whippets. But what they are achieving is truly beyond my wildest dreams. ๐ซถ๐ผ
I donโt know many whippets who can boast titles like BEST IN FIELD and BEST IN SHOW at the same time.
On top of that, achieving this success at just 2.5 years old is just crazy to me.
Alaska, I am incredibly proud, grateful, and I am so glad you stayed on our team and bring us so much joy. ๐ซถ๐ผ๐๐ต๏ธ
We love you, our blue rocket ๐๐โค๏ธ
Thank you, Ivana, for the care and the opportunity. ๐ซถ๐ผ
