We never expected Raraโs skin journey to teach us so much about caring for dogs.
There was a period just one year ago when her ears were almost furless โ crusty, itchy and full of ear wax. She also had itchy skin and patches of bald spots.
As pawrents, it was honestly heartbreaking to see.
Over time, we made a few changes to her daily routine:
1) No more food scraps
2) Added a probiotic supplement
3) Switched to a chemical-free detergent
There wasnโt one overnight โmiracle cureโ. We simply became more intentional about what she ate, what she was exposed to, and how we cared for her day to day.
And slowly, we started seeing a difference.
Today, her fur has grown back, her skin looks so much healthier, and most importantly โ sheโs a much happier girl. ๐ฅน๐งก
Raraโs journey is also one of the reasons we believe pet wellness goes beyond just feeding a good meal.
Food is one piece of the puzzle. So are gut health, environment and everyday habits.
Every dog is different, and what worked for Rara may not necessarily work for yours. If your dog has persistent skin or ear problems, itโs always worth getting proper veterinary advice too.
But we hope sharing Raraโs story gives another pawparent a little hope. ๐ช๐ป
Because sometimes, the little changes add up to something big.
