Morning walk with ! 4km walk, caught in rain a couple of times but still managed to complete it albeit everyone was wet 🤣

Brunch, then we did another short walk after since the weather was really good after the rain! Really need to find a suitable raincoat for Jingle for such situations, so that she can walk in the rain instead 🥲

Didn’t really sweat today, but we were wet from the rain 😂

Rain started before we started our walk, but stopped shortly after, so we could continue with the plan! Rained again when we’re halfway through the walk, put on the rain cover and umbrellas since it was not that heavy, but it got really heavy after a while with strong wind, so we ran for shelter 😂 Rain stopped shortly after again, so we continued on and then start again when we’re near to destination so we just ran. Quite a fun 4km walk 🤣

Had brunch, thank you Jazzmin Ong Jie Min for the birthday treat! 🙌🏻 then we walked more after since the rain stopped for good but weather remained really cooling and cloudy before making our way home!

Somehow it became a fulfilling long weekend for Jingle this week!

Saturday was playdate at ECP dog run with , and , then spent the rest of the day at ’s.

Sunday was flyball day! Class starts at 3pm but I don’t know why I kept thinking we leave home at 3pm. Thankfully messaged me 15 mins before 2pm. So we still made it after rushing to get ready 😂 Thank you for driving us again! 🙏🏻

Then today was swim day for Jingle with and ! We were supposed to join them last week, but our lure coursing got postponed to the same day so I was quite bummed. But yay! Today’s swim happened! Weather was also really good. Sun only came out when we were almost done. Maybe I should bring Jingle to join the peeps at least once a month, looking at how much she enjoyed playing and swimming with her jrt fam. Sorry that you’re a jrt at heart, born in a sheltie body. Can’t afford to let you get all dirty or wet often because you don’t dry easily 🥲

Morning was dog run + brunch at ECP with , and .

Then to ’s house to rest for abit, left Jingle at their place and brought only Cookie with Sherman to an indoor pet event at Cathay + teabreak for humans. Been awhile since I had a peaceful outing. No sound at all from Cookie (and Jingle). He was so settled all the way 🥹

Back to their place to rest, dinner, chit chat before going home! 🙌🏻

Jingle’s favourite activity happened on Wednesday! She went crazy the moment the plastic bag was brought out. Non stop barking for it 🫪

helped me to handle her when it wasn’t her turn yet as I was taking photos most of the time. They asked me what do I with her usually. I say I just let it be when she’s already in the zone because even treats will be rejected 😂 But they can try to see if she’ll calm down with whatever they want to do 😬 I forgot to ask if it worked 🤣

It was a great session! Can we have lure coursing more frequently? 🤭

Did an evening walk on Tuesday because we were heading for the animal blessing that starts at 7pm! Looked for places we can walk that is near NEX but couldn’t find any. Nearest was Bidadari Park, so we did just that. Mosquitoes were crazy there though 😮‍💨

Cut short the walk, went to Woodleigh mall opposite to get drinks before walking the 2km walk to our main agenda. Late dinner at nearby area before making our way home.

3rd time, and 3 years in a row for the blessing. I’ve always wanted to go for the Catholic one as well but just didn’t happen yet. Hopefully this year? 🤞🏻

Had a full day outing yesterday! Morning walk at a new park with , lunch then home, then out again to CQ for the event, then became companion to the vet before going home 😂

Finally another to-go place ticked yesterday!

I’ve always wanted to bring Cookie back to where I first met him to take a photo. Almost didn’t make it, as we were behind schedule but and insisted we do it 🥹

Back in 6 Nov 2013, Wednesday evening, I went to the pickup/drop off point at Pasir Ris MRT to view Cookie with my mom. I texted the ex family a couple of hours before and we managed to arrange a viewing instantly. A 10 mins meetup was all it takes because they simply said “if you want him, you can have him”. I remember this boy, 1Y4M old then was barking, pulling and lunging all the way at the people walking past. It really helped that I had no experience hence no expectations of dogs behaviour then 😂

Story short, we decided to take him home on 8 Nov, Friday instead so that I have the weekend to spend with him. I remember asking my mom many times what if they changed their mind, that they wanted to keep him or decided someone else is more suitable for him 😰 My worry was unnecessary as they didn’t even care if they should find someone suitable. It was more like a FCFS basis, and they couldn’t be bothered anymore after he was “taken”. Though I’m thankful they’re this irresponsible 🫪 Otherwise I might not have him 😮‍💨

Unfortunately the exact pickup point I first met him is now gone as the development at the MRT station had progressed with the new mall in the last 13 years 😅 So we picked the closest looking sheltered walkway to take the photos 🥹
