Established in February 2008, The Animal Doctors is a small animal clinic owned and run by two good friends who met in university and who serendipitously found they both shared a passion for a high standard of care for all domestic animals. Our clinic is equipped with full in-house laboratory services, with on-site blood testing and diagnostics allowing us to arrive closer to a diagnosis with mini

mal delay. Our X-ray machine also provides a fast and efficient diagnosis for a plethora of medical conditions. In addition, we also offer ultrasound services to investigate the abdomen and thorax without the need for invasive surgery. Our surgical suite is also equipped with extensive anaesthetic continuous monitoring devices to ensure that your animal is kept safe under general anaesthesia. This, along with a wide range of surgical equipment, enables us the capability to perform a variety of soft tissue and occasional orthopaedic surgeries.

Finding a lump on your rabbit can be concerning, but not every growth is the same. Some may be benign, while others require further investigation or treatment. A veterinary examination helps determine the nature of the mass and whether surgical removal or additional testing is recommended.

Early assessment allows us to plan the most appropriate treatment and gives your rabbit the best chance of a comfortable recovery. 🐰

The countdown to 31 August 2026 is on! 🐱⏰

If your cat hasn’t been microchipped, sterilised or licensed yet, now is the time to get things sorted.

Under the AVS Cat Management Framework, cat licensing is free until 31 August 2026. Sterilised cats can receive a free one-time licence with lifetime validity, while licensing fees will apply from 1 September 2026.

If your cat still needs to be microchipped or sterilised, please contact us to arrange an appointment — don’t leave it until the last minute! 🐾
