With the current haze situation not improving, let us look at ways to keep our pets safe.
Fine particles in the air may irritate their eyes and respiratory tract, especially in pets with existing heart or lung conditions.
Here’s how you can help keep them safe:
✅ Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
✅ Keep outdoor walks short and avoid strenuous exercise.
✅ Use an air purifier if available.
✅ Ensure fresh drinking water is always available.
✅ Watch out for coughing, sneezing, red eyes or unusual tiredness.
🚨 Important: If your pet has difficulty breathing, seek urgent veterinary care.
