We were alerted to a string hanging from this poor cat’s bottom one afternoon. This is a potentially life-threatening emergency. Strings can bunch up inside the intestines and cut through them like a saw. Cases like these often require additional diagnostics and emergency surgery. Very luckily for this sweet cat, Dr Eunice was able to gently locate and free the end of the string during a re**al examination, allowing him to safely pass it without surgery. If you ever see string, ribbon, thread, or tinsel coming from your pet’s mouth or bottom, do not pull it!! Seek veterinary care immediately.

Bailey’s heterochromia is a beautiful reminder of how unique our patients can be. One look, two different stories. Heterochromia is a natural variation caused by differences in pigment, and it doesn’t usually affect vision or health. While it may look striking, it’s simply one of the many ways genetics can show up in our pets.

Veterinary dental work requires precision, patience, and a clear view of tiny structures such as roots and bone. Since pets are under anesthesia for these procedures, we take extra care to work efficiently and safely, and something as simple as good lighting plays a big role in that.

Serving looks but safety first 💅🐾

This little diva is rocking a custom-made collar like it’s straight off the runway.

However, tiny accessories can turn into big trouble if swallowed. We love how her human does it right only wearing it during outings and keeping a close eye at all times.

Fashion is fun, but safety is ever more important 💖
