Dental care for pets is expensive. We know that.
And when something like anaesthesia-free dental promises a cleaner mouth at a fraction of the cost, it makes complete sense that pet owners consider it.
But here is what most people are not told. ๐ซฃ
Anaesthesia-free dental only cleans what is visible above the gumline.
It cannot probe, cannot take X-rays, and cannot treat anything below the surface. That is where up to 60% of the tooth actually lives. And that is exactly where disease develops. ๐

Clean-looking on the outside. Severely diseased underneath. The damage would have been completely invisible without dental X-rays.
