Join us this Sunday, 11th October, for the big potato harvest of the year! 🥔

We will get started around 13:00 and will continue until all potatoes are out of the ground 🪏

As usual, we will have the occasional fika break 🍩 (feel free to bring something to share), and hopefully enjoy the autumn sun 🌻

Thank you all for joining us in the garden yesterday! From compost building to tucking in potatoes (?), watering, and harvesting berries - we’re always amazed by what we can get done together. See you next Sunday from 13:00 at Villavägen 14! Tell a friend to tell a friend ☀️

The Campus Garden has entered the sixth gardening season and we’ve been so busy enjoying it that we’ve forgotten to update our socials. Oops! Can you blame us? Look at all the beauty and deliciousness that the garden is serving. Join us every Sunday from 13:00 at Villavägen 14 in Uppsala! ☀️

🌱 Gardening day update 🌱
Every gardening day looks a bit different depending on the people who attend and what needs to be done for the moment (although weeding and watering will always be needed). Last Saturday for example, the following tasks were completed:

✅ Harvesting some of the potato plants
✅ Flipping compost
✅ Cutting grass
✅ Weeding the paths
✅ Filling water bags & general watering
✅ Most importantly having fun and enjoying the garden

Thanks to everyone who came and hope to see you on Saturday! 🌞

🍰FIKA BREAK🍰
When working hard in the garden it’s important to take some breaks. It’s a moment to take a deep breath, to fully take in the beauty of the garden and the progress that has been made. It’s an exellent opportunity to catch up with an old garden friend or perhaps to get to know someone new. It’s of course also a moment to enjoy a good snack!
🍪☕️🫒🍎🍫🍓

PS. Did you spot the secret fika guest? 🐿️

Last Saturday excellent teamwork was executed (check the last slide for proof)! The heaviest bench+table was moved back to the social space. 💪 Also the poles in the kitchen garden fence were put back into the ground. ⚒️ Watering hoes were connected and some seeds were planted. 🌱
