WDS 2026 was very interesting and useful experience.
My Kennel King of Valahia obtained relatively good results.
We competed with another typology of Saint Bernard dogs, very thin, that's probably why the big Saint Bernard Kennels from Europe, Great Britain, America, etc. did not participate.
I participated, believing that regardless of the typology, the quality of the dog, compliance with standards and movement are priorities.
However, I am satisfied with the results and more than that, because it meant training and experience for the dogs, especially for the little ones.
The only thing that really amazed me, is that my beautiful Iank Saint Valley (European Champion on Champion Class, BOB, Vice World Champion Open Class and Reserve CAC, National Champion Cum Laude, Best in show 2026, twice BOG 2 etc, etc) who has never received a rating lower than Excellent since he was a junior and has been judged by over 20 international judges so far, obtained a Very Good rating; although he did excellently, considering that he is "too strong" as Mr. Judge expressed it. Being strong for a Saint Bernard seems to be a defect, and 20 judges were wrong in his evaluation?!
Here are the results:
1- Iank Saint Valley - Very Good, 4th place;
2- Ares King of Valahia (Romanian junior champion ) Junior Class - Excellent, 2nd place ;
3- Amelie King of Valahia (Romanian junior champion )Intermediate Class- Very good, 1st place;
4- Angel King of Valahia, owner Adrian Padurean, Junior Class - Excellent, 3rd place;
Our next participation will be more successful, anyway we confirmed once again the quality of our dogs and we learned that in dog competitions who is the judge and where the competition takes place is important.

The King of Valahia Kennel is honored and proud to have represented the Saint Bernard breed at the 115th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Romania and the celebration of Switzerland Day, held at the National Bank of Romania.
J.Lo, the sweetest Saint Bernard, mother of 7 puppies-letter A, Romanian Champion, represented with love and elegance one of the most beautiful dog breeds, a symbol of Switzerland.
We thank the Embassy of Switzerland in Romania, ​​Mr. Ambassador and the entire team, but last but not least my colleagues Andrei and Cristina for this opportunity and we hope to participate in future events aimed at promoting this magnificent dog breed..

My beautiful young girl Amelie King of Valahia, got Excellent 1, CAC J, CACIB J, BOB, Crufts Qualifier 2027 at Bucharest International Dog Show, she also became Romanian Junior Champion. A very good training for the World Dog Show 2026. Thank you first of all to Mr. Trainer Georgian A. Negrescu, but also to the organizers ACH Bucharest and to the judge. Now all members of the King of Valahia kennel are Romanian Champions, but more than that they are the cutest and most loving Saint Bernards!

Great results for my Saints at Ialomita Trophy Dog Show 09-10.05.2026 - 2xCAC, 1xCACIB:
- Iank Saint Valley -SB Short Hair- 3 Ex1, 3 BOB, 3 CAC, 1 CACIB, 2 x Best of Group 2, 3th place Best of Group 2, 1- Best in Show CAC;
- Ares King of Valahia -SB Short Hair-3 Ex1, 3 Best Junior, 3 CAC J, 1 CACB J - Champion of Romania;
- J.Lo Saint Valley -SB Long Hair -3 Ex1, 3 BOB, 3 CAC, 1 CACIB - Champion Of Romania;
I am so proud, not only because they are my dogs that I love, but also because they proudly represent the Saint Bernard breed, such a beautiful breed, with strong, but gentle dogs, brave in difficult conditions but also loyal and reliable partners.
Thank you very much for the appreciation to the judges Petru Muntean, Augustin Ionescu and Calin Simu.
And last but not least to Georgian A. Negrescu, an exceptional handler and trainer, but also a special man, who through work and training helped us achieve these results and certainly many more in the future.
