It's International Cat Day today (although most cat owners will agree every day is cat day) ❤️

A few photos of our rescues, who don't have a bad life for shelter cats. Sofa's, outdoor catio's, indoor beds with air conditioning and all they need while they patiently wait for you 😊

We have over 120 cats of all colours, shapes and sizes with amazing personalities......they all deserve forever homes and individual attention, a family to call their own 🙏

Our felines are chipped, vaccinated, spay/neutered, parasite treated, healthy and good to go ✅

Please always consider adoption, if you are thinking about a fur family member come and visit to meet them 🥰

Bella wants us to thank you all for your incredible support. She is fully funded and will get everything she needs 🙏

Our community is the best, she even got the cosiest bed ever, and a treat bigger than her.... Bella's life has already improved after her spa day, with great pain relief and good food she's on her way 🥰

Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow and we will update. Next step will be a foster home, she is soooo sweet ❤️

Thank you for always being there with us, every step of the way 😊

Your life will get better from here on, our promise to sweet Bella ❤️

We are drowning in vet bills but when we saw the photos of this poor girl we simply said yes, let's get her in and worry about the bills tomorrow. Some things just can't wait and sadly it is already too late to save her eye 💔

Bella (because she will be beautiful again soon) arrived at our vets, infested with ticks, erlichea positive, dehydrated, matted, filthy, a horrible eye injury and in desperate need 😢

She is getting the full work up and everything she needs to prepare her for the necessary surgery.....please, if you can, help us help her.

Who knew, an offer of a foster home would turn into a forever home with a family member overseas 🎉

Fostering does save lives, start new beginnings and makes the world of difference. If you can't adopt please consider fostering as a huge stepping stone to who knows what 🥰

Lucky Suki is now being prepared to travel to the US and will stay in her amazing foster home until she's ready to start her new life, found by her fosters (thank you so much) - travel update to follow. 😊

Suki has two gorgeous sisters looking for foster/adoption.....can we find them a second chance at the good life? 🙏

With demand for rescue space at an all time high (not just here but everywhere in the world) we are struggling to keep up 😢

We don't say no because we don't care, please remember that, we are human and have feelings. There are 3 of us voluntarily running QAWS (with jobs and families)💔

We have to say no sometimes, space, funds (no we are NOT government funded), resources in general limit what we can do.....getting angry with us, telling us it's our job and we have too, begging and saying a rescue will die if we don't help is taking a toll on us.😔

Believe us when we say if we could we would....please do your part too 🤷

Note: we are well supported by our community, near and far, and those that know us and follow us understand.....for that we are incredibly grateful 🙏

Oh my, meet little Meg, the sweetest, most grateful rescued kitten ever ❤️

It's like she knows how much trouble she was in and how safe she is now....and that she has a loving future ahead of her.

Tiny Meg was found with a horrific injury and will sadly lose a leg BUT nothing is going to stop this kitten, she has the most amazing personality and wishes to be a princess 😂

Little Meg shows us all how bad things happen but everything can be overcome with a smile.....

So hard to see a helpless pup alone on the busy streets 💔

The confusion in his eyes, the fear of being alone, fending for himself with nobody to show him how.......we don't know how he ended up there or why but we do know in a high traffic area, in these extreme temperatures he wouldn't have lasted long 😢

Meet "Billy", picking him up was the easy part, finding the space, the resources, the funds, not so easy, but as always, we will.

Billy now needs a future, a home, a family, a safe place forever 🙏

We have sooooo many puppies, please keep sharing, commenting and liking our posts, we need to continue to be seen for the sake of all the rescues in our care 😔

Happy Day, Happy Storm Adoption Day for Sassy, now Iris ❤️

We couldn't be more delighted than to announce the forever home and amazing forever family for gorgeous Iris 🥰

We featured her a while back and still she waited, then came the storm (who we all now admit was a tough time but kind of worth it) 🤷. Sassy went into foster care, when she needed to come back a second foster was found......and that has turned into forever. She finally found her place and it is right where she is meant to be.

Thank you for choosing adoption, for choosing Iris and for giving her a happy ever after ❤️🙏
