The entire workshop will be conducted in French, from the live webinar to the hands-on practical session.

The programme kicks off on 26 October with a two-hour live webinar covering TPLO and medial patellar luxation. A recording will be available afterwards, allowing participants to revisit the key concepts before putting them into practice during the hands-on session using biological specimens in Bordeaux on 6 November.

Both sessions will be led by Antoine Bernardé, Dr Vét, MSc, DESV Chir, Dipl. ECVS.

On a range we design ourselves, appearance is never the final check. Geometry, material, tolerances and fit must all meet the specification for that exact part before it moves on. If one requirement fails, the part goes back instead of reaching a surgical tray.

The Bordeaux programme focuses on the decisions that shape the procedure from the outset: accurate radiographic interpretation, digital surgical planning, and recognising potential complications before they take hold.

The webinar on 26 October sets the stage for the hands-on biological model session on 6 November at Deterca, University of Bordeaux – Campus Carreire. Both sessions are taught in French.

We're at the XXII Montenegro International Veterinary Congress today and tomorrow, at Europarque, Santa Maria da Feira. Do bring your cases along.

The TPLO is tomorrow. There should be no question marks left on the tray.

Before theatre, preparation means more than having a list of instruments. The right reference needs to match the procedure, be in stock, and be confirmed while there is still time to act.

Because the last thing a surgeon should be doing on the day of surgery is wondering whether the right instrument is available.

Preparation starts the day before — not when the patient is already on the table.
