💔 Xavi has been hospitalized for 6 days due to a severe infection — the cause is still unknown. Right now, he received a blood transfusion just to sustain life. The medical costs have already exceeded MASDAW’s tolerable limit, and funds are running critically low.

🙏 We are urgently seeking kind-hearted people’s generous contributions. Every donation, no matter the size, is a lifeline. Together, we can save Xavi and give him the chance to keep fighting.

在MASDAW，我們無比珍惜每位志工的來訪，感謝你們與我們可愛的四腳夥伴們共度美好時光！每一次來訪都是分享愛、快樂和陪伴的機會。
在這裡，您將有機會與狗狗們親密接觸，餵食它們，並建立更深厚的感情。為了讓您的體驗更加特別，請務必在我們的晚餐時間（晚上7點至9點）預約來訪。
在您來訪期間，讓狗狗們開心最有意義的方式之一就是為我們送來或帶來新鮮食材，這樣我們就可以精心烹調健康美味的食物！

在MASDAW，我們會收到您提供的食材，並親自烹飪，以確保每隻狗都能享用到安全營養的食物。
👉 您可以購買我們使用的食材來支持我們——去皮去骨雞肉、雞肝、胡蘿蔔、青豆、紅薯、南瓜、雞蛋、藜麥、雞雜和綠豆——幫助我們繼續在庇護所烹製新鮮餐食。

🐾 ✨A meaningful way to please our dogs

Dear MASDAW friends,🥰

At MASDAW we truly cherish the visits of volunteers who love spending time with our adorable four‑legged members! Every visit is a chance to share affection, joy, and companionship.

Here you will have the opportunity to be with the dogs, feed them, and build a deeper bond. To make this experience even more special, visits must be booked during our evening meal time, from 7–9 pm.

And one of the most meaningful ways to delight them during your visit is by sending us or bringing fresh ingredients, so we can cook healthy food with love and care!

At MASDAW, we receive the ingredients and prepare the meals ourselves to ensure every pup enjoys safe and nutritious food.

👉 You can support us by purchasing the foods we use — skinless and boneless chicken meat, livers, carrots, green peas, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, eggs, quinoa,chicken giblets and mung beans — helping us continue to prepare fresh meals at the shelter.

日有四位熱心義工，嚟到收容所幫Bikka同Ziva沖涼🐶✨。
多謝佢哋願意抽出寶貴時間，仲特意提早到場，細心幫兩隻狗狗清潔打理🙏。
夏天天氣十分炎熱，為咗避免狗狗中暑，我哋正式遛狗時段係傍晚6點至8點☀️，實際時間亦會視乎天氣情況作出調整。
不過場地下午3點就已經開放，如果大家早到，都可以幫狗狗沖涼，或者陪佢哋玩耍互動🥰。
現場仲有狗狗零食可以購買，透過零食可以好好增進同狗狗之間嘅感情，歡迎各位踴躍過來參與🐾。

🌸🐶 A Shelter Story: Bikka & Ziva’s Day of Care

This afternoon, the shelter doors opened to a beautiful act of kindness. Four amazing volunteers arrived early with with plenty of patience, gentleness, and love. They bathed Bikka and Ziva, two of our beloved dogs, turning an ordinary task into a moment of tenderness. Their wagging tails, sparkling eyes, and relaxed sighs told the story better than words ever could. ✨💖

🙏 We are profoundly grateful to those who dedicate their precious time to care for our animals. Every bath, every brush, every gentle touch is more than routine — it is healing, it is hope, it is proof that compassion still thrives in the world.

☀️ With summer’s heat pressing down, we take special care to protect our furry friends. Dog‑walking sessions are scheduled from 6 pm to 8 pm, when the air is cooler and safer. The timetable may shift depending on weather, because their wellbeing always comes first.

🏠 From 3 pm onwards, our doors are open. Those who arrive early can join in the bathing, or simply sit and play with the dogs indoors. These quiet hours are precious — moments of laughter, cuddles, and trust that remind the dogs they are loved. 🥰

🍪 On‑site, dog treats are available. They are more than snacks; they are bridges of friendship, helping visitors bond with the dogs while supporting their care.

🐾 Everyone is warmly welcome. Each visit, each smile, each gentle hand adds to the tapestry of joy we are weaving for Bikka, Ziva, and all their companions. Together, we are not just caring for animals — we are creating brighter tomorrows. 💕

不過由於近日天氣持續酷熱，為咗預防狗狗中暑🥵，戶外帶狗狗散步時段只安排每日傍晚18:00–20:00。（因天氣太熱或太大雨，可能會暫停）
喺日間其他時間，大家仍然可以入到狗舍室內，幫狗狗沖涼、同一眾毛孩子親近互動、一齊玩耍，避開外面猛烈陽光。☀️

🐾 在 国际无家动物日，我们庆祝爱的胜利与坚韧：Unai 在经历了第二次手术后回到了家。这次手术切除了除三颗犬齿外的所有牙齿，因为他患有严重的牙龈口炎（剧烈的炎症过程）。

💔 在短短四个月里，他已经经历了两次手术，但我们相信，从现在开始，他的生活质量将得到显著改善。

✨ 两年前，Unai 和他的兄弟姐妹在仅仅 8 天大的时候被 MASDAW 救下。今天，他终于可以再次与家人一起安睡，同时等待属于他的灵魂伴侣人类。

🐾 On International Homeless Animals’ Day, we celebrate a victory of love and resilience: Unai is back home after a prophylactic surgery that removed all his teeth except three canines, due to severe gingivostomatitis (a painful inflammation).

💔 This was his second surgery in just 4 months, but we believe his quality of life will now be greatly improved.

✨ Unai was saved by MASDAW two years ago, when he and his siblings were found at only 8 days old. Today, he can finally sleep with his family again while he waits for his soulmate human to find him.

⚽🇪🇸🐾 Ferran Torres: Champion on the Field, Protector of Dogs

Everyone remembers Ferran Torres for the unforgettable goal that crowned Spain World Cup winners in 2026. But beyond the stadium lights and the roar of fans, the Valencian striker dedicates his life to something deeply personal: rescuing and defending abandoned animals.

His love for dogs began in childhood in Foios, Valencia, when he adopted Rex, a German shepherd who left such a lasting mark that both he and his sister tattooed his image to carry him forever. Since then, Ferran has never imagined life without pets. Today, his home in Gavà (Barcelona) is shared with three rescued dogs—Minnie, Lluna, and Milo, the latter found wandering the streets of Bulgaria. His house is designed entirely around them, with wide spaces for running, playing, and resting freely.

🌞 Vacations dedicated to rescue
For Ferran, summer holidays are not just about rest. During his free time, he searches for stray dogs, feeds them, takes them to veterinarians, and personally covers all the costs of their recovery until they find safe homes.

🐾 Beyond his own rescues
His commitment goes further. In 2021, Ferran became the first ambassador of the Wild at Heart Foundation, an international organization focused on adoption, sterilization, and canine rescue programs. He frequently uses his visibility as a public figure to support shelters, promote responsible adoption, and raise awareness about the urgent need to stop animal abandonment. His dedication to this cause is as serious as his devotion to football.

🌍 Inspiring change
The striker has shown that fame and sporting success can be used to create a positive impact in the world. His example has inspired thousands of fans to adopt rather than buy, and to understand that animals deserve a second chance. Ferran Torres is a reminder that heroes exist not only on the pitch, but also in the everyday fight for compassion.

✨ And beyond his own actions, Ferran’s story inspires us to look ahead. We hope that future generations will continue this fight against animal abuse, building a world where empathy, responsibility, and respect for life are the true measures of greatness.

Stories like Fernán Torres’s remind us why we never give up. Every treatment, every pill, every cuddle matters. But elderly care is costly, and we cannot do it alone.
