Description: Gymnocalycium is a highly popular genus of cacti among both collectors and beginners. These plants have spherical to slightly flattened bodies, well-defined ribs, and compact sizes ranging from 4 to 15 cm in diameter. They produce large, showy flowers in proportion to their bodies, in colours such as white, pink, red, or yellow. The genus name comes from the Greek and means "naked calyx," referring to the absence of hairs on the flower buds.

• Specie: Primulina (ex: Chirita) ‘Chastity' - False African Violet.

• Origin: hybrid between: P. longgangensis X P. flavimaculata.

• Category: flower plant.

• Observations: In 2011, the genus ‘Chirita’ was botanically reclassified as Primulina. This hybrid was created by John Boggan, an American horticulturist and hybridizer known mainly for his work with plants of the Gesneriaceae family, where he became highly respected among collectors. This plant received an award from The Gesneriad Society in 2019, where it is listed as ‘Best John Boggan Hybrid – Primulina 'Chastity'’. There is no exact publicly known date for when Primulina 'Chastity' was actually created; the first commercial records date from 2009, and the hybrid was likely developed in the mid-2000s.

• Basic Cultivation Requirements:

- Environment: Suitable for terrarium or greenhouse culture.

- Size: Up to approximately 25 cm in height.

- Light: Bright, indirect light; ~12 hours daily recommended.

- Temperature: Optimal range between 18–26 °C.

- Substrate: Well-draining aroid-type mix.

- Humidity & Watering: Maintain evenly moist substrate and moderate to high ambient humidity; avoid waterlogging.

- Fertilization: Apply orchid fertilizer sparingly during the growing season.

- Toxicity: Considered non-toxic or of low concern for pets/humans.

Full Moon, a.k.a. Blue-Eyed Patternless Palmetto Corn Snake, with no hybridization with Leucistic Texas Rat Snake or any other species—only morph combinations and selective breeding.

The last photo shows the animal under black light (UVA), where very small spots can be seen in a greatly reduced number and size, not visible to the naked eye.
