Wild pairs prefer a stable pH for breeding and a conductivity that never exceeds 200 microsiemens! Here in this graph, we’ve shared the temperature readings over the course of a month for the fish in a standard 6,000-litre tank! We lower the temperature to trigger spawning, which we control via an app. On average, the best temperature for them to spawn and for us to collect the eggs is between 27 and 27.5 degrees! We’ve never had our pairs spawn at temperatures above 28 degrees.
