Lembram-se da Júlia, de há algumas semanas? É bastante difícil esquecer uma cara tão bonita com uns olhos tão lindos, não é? 😍

A Júlia não gosta muito de mimos e festinhas, mas isso não significa que não tenha recebido atenção! Ela adora ser estimulada, por isso, tal como eu esperava, cada visita passou num piscar de olhos, já que ela e o colega de casa (o pai), Óscar, eram tão brincalhões e só ficavam quietos na hora de comer o churu 😋 Uma verdadeira caçadora que não deixava escapar nenhuma das bolinhas de papel que atirávamos pela casa! 😹

Remember Júlia from a few weeks ago? It’s quite difficult to forget such a pretty face with such gorgeous eyes, right? 😍

Júlia doesn’t really like to be petted but that doesn’t mean that she didn’t get any attention! She loves to be stimulated so, as I was expecting, each visit went by in the blink of an eye since she and her flatmate(her dad), Óscar, were so playful and stood still only when it was time to eat the churu 😋 A true hunter that wouldn’t miss catching all the paper balls that we’re flying around the house! 😹

O Malu foi simplesmente outra coisa! 🖤

Pensa na brincadeira, nos mimos e na ternura e leva tudo isso ao máximo! Sempre que não estava a comer a sua deliciosa comida húmida, o Malu estava ocupado a fazer tudo isso. Sinceramente, ele é um dos gatos mais carinhosos e ativos que visitei nos últimos tempos, por isso cada visita passava em um relance. 😻

É incrível a rapidez com que criámos laços e isso tornou a minha última visita muito mais difícil… 🥹 Mas espero voltar a vê-lo um dia, para que possamos repetir tudo outra vez! 🥰

Malu was just something else! 🖤

Take playfulness, cuddliness and loveliness and bring them all to the max! Whenever he was not eating his delicious wet food, Malu was busy doing all of the above. Honestly, he’s one of the clingiest, most active cats I’ve been to in a while so each visit was passing by in a glimpse.

It’s incredible how quickly we bonded and that definitely made my last visit so much harder… 🥹 But I hope to see him again one day, so we can do it all over again! 🥰

Ao olhar para o Kelly nesta foto, vê-se um rapazinho calmo, quase uma estátua, já que até a língua dele está tão direita 😝

Mas assim que se começa a caminhar, aquela energia de rapazinho começa a aparecer. Não estou a dizer que ele não se comporte bem, porque ele é um bom rapaz, que dá o seu melhor para tentar caminhar ao teu lado sem puxar, mas assim que chega a um pedacinho de relva, a energia desenfreada começa a dar nas vistas. 😆

Levei o Kelly a passear algumas vezes e cada passeio pareceu uma nova aventura. E brincadeiras à parte, ele é um rapazinho muito meigo, obediente e alegre, que está simplesmente ansioso por explorar este mundo maravilhoso em que vivemos. 🐕

Looking at Kelly in this picture you see a calm, almost statue like boy since even his tongue is so straight 😝

But once you start walking, that young boy energy starts showing. Not saying he’s not well behaved, cause he is a good boy, that gives his best trying to walk next to you without pulling, but when he gets to a small piece of grass, the zoomies start showing off. 😆

I’ve walked Kelly for a few times and every walk felt like we’re going on a new adventure. And jokes aside, he is a very sweet, obedient and joyful boy, that’s just so keen to explore this beautiful world we live in. 🐕

Conquistar a Filo demorou algum tempo, mas com o Churu na mão, as coisas ficaram muito mais fáceis! 😹

A Filo é, em geral, uma senhora tímida, que não gosta de ser muito incomodada e também não incomoda os outros. Ela gosta de comer, de dormir a sesta e de ter a sua paz e tranquilidade. No início, pensei que a nossa interação se limitaria a olharmos uma para a outra à distância e que seria só isso. Mas, à medida que os dias passavam, reparei que a nossa relação se estava a tornar mais forte e começámos a aproximar-nos uma da outra. 🥰 Podia atribuir todo o mérito a mim, mas, sinceramente, o facto de ela estar concentrada em lamber o Churu e não tanto no que eu estava a fazer ajudou imenso. E assim que percebeu que ser acariciada pode, na verdade, ser tão bom, começou a procurar a minha mão e a esfregar-se sozinha nela. 🥹

A Filo é, de facto, uma alma tímida, mas só precisa que as coisas aconteçam ao seu ritmo. E quando chega a altura certa, ela é simplesmente a senhora mais doce e adorável. 🤎

Winning Filo over took some time, but with Churu in hand, things got a lot easier! 😹

Filo is generally a shy lady, not wanting to be bothered much and she also doesn’t bother the others. She likes to have her food, her naps and her peace and quiet. At first I thought that our interaction will be limited to looking at each other from afar and that would be it. But as the days passed by, I noticed that our relationship was growing stronger and we started getting closer to each other. 🥰 I could take all the credit for this, but honestly her being focused on licking the Churu and not so much on what I was doing, definitely helped. And once she understood that being petted can actually be so good, she started searching for my hand and rubbing herself against it. 🥹

Filo is a shy soul indeed, but one that just needs things to happen on her schedule. And when the time is right, she’s just the sweetest lovable lady. 🤎

Já conheço o Pilhas há 3 anos e, sinceramente, ele não mudou muito desde que nos conhecemos. Continua a ser aquele menino querido, pronto para correr atrás de todas as bolas que lhe atirares, cujas orelhas balançam de uma forma adorável durante os passeios e que te dá um grande abraço e um beijo assim que te agachas à sua frente. Escusado será dizer que as nossas visitas incluíram tudo isto... e muito mais 🥰

Foi uma alegria tão grande voltar a ver-te, querido! Até à próxima! 😍

Summary of the visits with Pilhas last month: full of energy and love 🧡

I’ve known Pilhas for 3 years now and honestly he didn’t change much since we first met. He’s still that sweet boy ready to run after all the balls you throw his way, whose ears flap in the most adorable way during his walks and who would give you a big hug and kiss as soon as you squat in front of him. Needless to say, our visits included all of the above.. and much more 🥰

It was such a joy to see you again, sweetheart! Until next time! 😍

Passear com três meninas cheias de energia ao mesmo tempo não é para quem tem o coração fraco! Foi por isso que, depois do meu primeiro passeio com a Lucy, a Luna e a Cindy, tive de pedir reforços! 😅

Estas três meninas estavam tão curiosas para explorar todas as ruas, cheirar todos os recantos... queriam percorrer o terreno todo! Não teria sido impossível para mim passeá-las sozinha, mas também queria que tivessem uma experiência melhor, que não sentissem que precisavam de interromper os seus momentos só porque as irmãs já queriam estar do outro lado da rua. E foi por isso que, a partir do segundo passeio, o meu parceiro (na vida, nos negócios e em tudo o resto) começou a passeá-las comigo. E foi a melhor decisão que podíamos ter tomado! O ritmo abrandou, o ambiente melhorou! ☺️

Foi um prazer passear convosco, queridas meninas! Até à próxima! 🤍

Walking three energetic dogs at the same time is not for the faint hearted! That’s why after my first walk with Lucy, Luna and Cindy, I had to call for backup! 😅

These three girls were so curious to explore every street, to smell every corner.. they wanted to cover as much ground as possible! It would not have been impossible for me to walk them by myself but I also wanted them to have a better experience, not to feel that they need to interrupt their smelling moments just because the others wanted to be on the other side of the street already. And that’s why starting the second walk my partner (in crime, in business and in life), started walking them with me. And it was the best decision we could have taken! The pace slowed down, the mood lifted up! ☺️

Diz olá ao Cookie (à esquerda) e ao Eça (à direita). Acredites ou não, eles são irmãos. Mas a reviravolta é que não vivem na mesma casa, mas as suas famílias adotivas também são parentes! 😻😻

O Eça também tem uma irmã mais velha (de outra mãe) que mora na mesma casa com ele, a Muji, que já conheci há 4 anos, durante as minhas primeiras visitas como pet sitter. Por isso, acho que já sabem quem manda naquela casa 😹

Tanto o Cookie como o Eça estão cheios de energia e são tão engraçados! Quase me tinha esquecido de como é estar na companhia de gatinhos! 🙃

Fiquem atentos para ver como as nossas visitas vão ser divertidas! 🥰

Say hello to Cookie (left) and Eça (right). Believe it or not, they are brothers. But the plot twist is that they don’t live in the same house, but their adoptive families are related too! 😻😻

Eça also has a big sister (from another mother) that lives in the same house as him, Muji, which I already met 4 years ago during my very first pet sitting visits. So I guess you know who commands in that home 😹

Both Cookie and Eça are so full of energy and funny! I almost forgot how it is to be around young kittens! 🙃

Conheço a Ana há dois anos, mas, sinceramente, parece que a conheço desde que ela nasceu. Desde o início que nos demos muito bem… e aqui estamos nós, dois anos depois, ainda a ver-nos regularmente. 😻

Uma coisa é certa: nem todos os gatos te deixariam dar-lhes beijinhos como a Ana me deixa fazer tantas vezes! Ela é uma das gatas mais fofas e carinhosas de que já cuidei… porque sim, quando durmo com ela, não passa uma noite sem alguns mimos! 🥰

Por isso, acho que é justo dizer que ambas temos muita sorte por nos termos encontrado! 🍀

É sempre um prazer passar tempo contigo, fofa! Vemo-nos novamente daqui a exatamente uma semana! 🤎

I’ve know Ana for two years now, but honestly it feels like I’ve known her since she was born. Since the very beginning we just clicked… and here we are, two years later, still seeing each other on a regular basis. 😻

One thing is certain, not all cats would let you smooch them like Ana indulges me to do so many times! She’s one of the sweetest and cuddliest cats I’ve taken care of.. cause yes, when I sleep with her, not a night goes by without some cuddles! 🥰

So I think it’s fair to say that we are both very lucky we found each other! 🍀

It’s always a pleasure to spend time with you, sweetheart! See you again in exactly one week! 🤎

No início, pensei que ela fosse a primeira a saltar dos meus braços… e depois, aos poucos, percebi! A Piaf vai ganhar o desafio! E foi mesmo isso que aconteceu! Foi ela que ficou mais tempo nos meus braços e conseguiu aguentar mais do que a Amália, a Carminho e o Ringo! 😻

E mais uma coisa ficou clara… A Piaf não se arrepende de nada! Perceberam o que eu fiz? Agora deve ser muito fácil adivinharem de que cantora ela herdou o nome! 😄

Na verdade, a Piaf é uma das mais brincalhonas da casa! O seu amor por atacadores é ilimitado, mas se não houver atacadores à mão, ela também adora correr atrás de quaisquer fitas ou cordões que estejam por perto. 🧶
Os seus miados doces e suaves lembram-me imenso a minha gata, a Skye, que por acaso também é tricolor. Isso faz-me querer abraçá-la ainda mais! E, como podem ver, ela não se opõe a isso! 🥰

Piaf, és simplesmente adorável! 🧡

At first, I thought she would be the first one to jump out of my arms… and then slowly I understood! Piaf will win the challenge! And that’s what happened! She was the one who stayed the longest in my arms and managed to outlast Amália, Carminho and Ringo! 😻

And one more thing is clear… Piaf doesn’t regret a thing! You see what I did there? It should be very easy for you now to guess the singer she inherited her name from! 😄

Piaf is actually one of the most playful ones in her house! Her love for shoelaces is boundless, but if shoelaces are not handy, she’s also happy to run after whatever ribbons or cords are around. 🧶
Her sweet and soft meows remind me so much of my cat, Skye, who also happens to be a tricolor cat. So that makes me want to cuddle her even more! And as you can see, she’s not opposing this! 🥰

Adivinhar de que cantora a Carminho herdou o nome é bastante óbvio no caso dela, mas achas que ouvir uma das suas canções favoritas a fará ficar mais tempo nos meus braços e ganhar o desafio? 🤔

Uma coisa é certa: a Carminho é o tipo de gatinha que parece não quere festinhas, fazendo sempre uma careta quando tento tocá-la, mas depois, quando se lembra das sensações mágicas que uma boa massagem pode proporcionar, contorce-se, vira-se, levanta o rabo, vira-se novamente e começa a esfregar o focinho nas minhas mãos… é evidente que ela não se cansa da atenção! 🥰 Tudo isto quando acontece na horizontal, pois o vídeo prova claramente que ela não gosta muito na vertical 😹

Guessing which singer’s name Carminho inherited is quite obvious in her case but do you think that listening to one of her favorite songs will make her stay longer in my arms and win the challenge? 🤔

One thing is for sure, Carminho is the kind of lady that looks like she doesn’t want to be petted, always making a face when I try to touch her, but then when she remembers the magic feelings a nice massage can give, she twists and turns and puts her butt up, and turns again and starts rubbing her face against my hands… she clearly can’t get enough of the attention! 🥰 All this when it happens horizontally, as the video clearly proves she doesn’t really like it vertically 😹
