🐱🏆 THE ST. PETERSBURG KITTEN COUNTDOWN — WE’VE REACHED THE TOP! 😻

Meet this magnificent Abyssinian kitten from my Saturday class at the St. Petersburg CATSTRAVAGANZA®!

And before you come for me, I KNOW Abyssinia isn’t Egypt! 😂 But here’s why I associate the Abyssinian with the cats of the pharaohs!

Just look at that elegant body, gorgeous ears, beautiful expression and stunning ticked coat! Doesn’t he resemble the cats depicted throughout ancient Egyptian art?

Here’s a little history!

In 1868, a cat named Zula was reportedly brought to Britain from Abyssinia, now Ethiopia. In 1871, a cat listed as coming from Abyssinia appeared at London’s famous Crystal Palace cat show, helping establish the breed’s name.

But genetic research suggests Asian ancestry, and similar-looking cats were depicted throughout ancient Egypt!

And did you know that in 2021, we held a special 150th-anniversary commemorative cat show at Crystal Palace celebrating that historic 1871 event?

Watch to see how this gorgeous kitten placed! 😻

**PORTLAND — LET’S DO THIS! 😻**

30/09/2026

**THIS is what really happens behind the scenes at a cat show. 😹**
Meet **Bad Bunny.**
👀 **Watch until the end to find out — was Bad Bunny a BAD Bunny… or a GOOD Bunny?** 😂
A lot of you are new here, so there’s something important to understand about my judging videos:
**What you see is what actually happened.**
The footage I post from CATSTRAVAGANZA®️ is essentially **unedited.** I might trim the beginning or end, but I’m not cutting things out to make the judging look perfect.
If a cat doesn’t stand properly, pulls its ears back, turns around at exactly the wrong moment or simply decides **NOPE** — that’s real.
In my opinion, judging cats is one of the most difficult jobs in the world. They’re not dogs. You can’t expect them to perform on command.
I have to keep the cat comfortable, safely handle and balance them, show them to the best of their ability, explain what I’m seeing, talk to the audience — usually with my hands 😂 — and somehow keep the whole thing entertaining.
Sometimes the cat has other plans.
And **Bad Bunny is the perfect example.** Imagine doing this in front of **1,000 people!** 😂
🎟️ **Want $10 OFF EACH TICKET? The discount code and our full schedule are in the comments. We have CATSTRAVAGANZA®️ shows across the country and Canada — **Portland, Oregon is up next!**
🎥 And if you want even more, **join Steven Meserve+ | Cat Lovers on SKOOL.** Meet cat lovers worldwide, join the chats, talk with me LIVE 2–3 times a week, watch every CATSTRAVAGANZA®️ LIVE or on demand, and download my book FREE.

**350,000 FOLLOWERS!!! 😻🎉**

Shes is apparently sniffing out the new followers. 😂

Seriously, **THANK YOU.** My personal Instagram just hit **350,000 followers!**

And across both Instagrams, both Facebooks, both TikToks and YouTube, there are now **nearly 1.8 MILLION of you** following along. 🤯❤️

Which is incredible — but it also means I simply **cannot keep up with all of your comments, messages and questions anymore.**

That’s one of the biggest reasons I created **Steven Meserve+ | Cat Lovers on SKOOL.**

I’m LIVE **2–3 times a week**, plus LIVE from every CATSTRAVAGANZA®️. Everything is archived, so you can watch whenever you want.

Ask me questions. Share your cats. Meet cat lovers from around the world. Join the conversations. **I’m involved every step of the way.**

And you’ll hear plenty of stories that never make it onto social media. 😂

Like **how I caught Shea with a POOL NET when she was just a few weeks old.**

Yes. A pool net. 😂

We’re still at **introductory Founding Member pricing**, but that won’t last forever.

Thank you for **350,000 here and nearly 1.8 MILLION across all our social platforms.** ❤️

Now you understand why I can’t answer everybody anymore. 😂
