É já a 𝟭 𝗮 𝟰 𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗿𝗼 que a 9ª Exposição BVA-P/AOB 2026 abre portas, e o painel de juízes está agora fechado: sete profissionais de quatro países diferentes, com décadas de experiência combinada em Agapornis.

A caminho da BVA Masters já temos o maior número de aves portuguesas inscritas de sempre: 𝟒𝟐𝟎 𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 e 𝟐𝟖 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬! 🐦

In July??

Yes, Poicephalus cryptoxanthus (brown-headed parrot) breeds in July, as this month is inserted in its natural breeding period in nature (which usually occurs between April and October in Eastern and Southern Africa).

Reproduction Factors in July
Natural Cycle: In nature, the mating season begins to coincide with the end of specific periods of resources, extending over several months.
Posture and Incubation: The typical laying is 2 to 3 eggs, hatched exclusively by the female for about 28 days.
The male takes an active role in the search for food and nest support during the development of the calf.

This information about the exclusively hatched by the female is not true. I have a couple thats the hatched is made exclusively by the male curiously.
