بہاؤالدین زکریا یونیورسٹی(BZU)ملتان کی فیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری سائنسز کے زیر اہتمام اینٹی بائیوٹک ریزسٹنس (AMR) آگاہی واک کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔
اس تقریب کا مقصد اینٹی بائیوٹک مزاحمت کے بڑھتے ہوئے خطرے کے بارے میں بیداری پیدا کرنا اور اینٹی بائیوٹک کے ذمہ دارانہ استعمال کو فروغ دینا تھا۔ شرکاء، بشمول طلباء، فیکلٹی ممبران، اور عملہ، نے بینر اٹھا رکھے تھے جن میں AMR آگاہی ہفتہ کے تھیم کو اجاگر کیا گیا تھا۔

"اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد عرفان انور (سینیئر موسٹ پروفیسر FVS-BZU) نے اس اقدام کو سراہا اور کہا کہ AMR ایک اہم مسئلہ ہے جس پر فوری توجہ دینے کی ضرورت ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا، "ویٹرنری سائنسز کی فیکلٹی، BZU، تعلیم، تحقیق اور کمیونٹی آؤٹ ریچ کے ذریعے AMR کے چیلنجز سے نمٹنے کے لیے پرعزم ہے۔ یہ آگاہی واک اس نازک مسئلے سے نمٹنے کی ہماری کوششوں کا آغاز ہے۔"
یہ واک ورلڈ اے ایم آر ویک(WAAW) 18-24نومبر 2024 کے تحت معاشرے میں بیداری پیدا کرنے اور اینٹی بائیوٹک کے استعمال کے بہترین طریقوں کو فروغ دینے کی مہم کا حصہ تھی۔

The medical term for excessive production of saliva is ptyalism ..

Drooling in infants and toddlers is normal and may often happen while they're teething. Drooling or hypersalivation in adults is usually associated with infections or nervous system disorders. Hypersalivation in adults is primarily caused by: Mononucleosis or sinus infections.
Wooden Tongue (Actinobacillus lignieresii) typically affects individual cattle causing acute symptoms of excess salivation,

Rinderpest and foot and mouth disease cause excess salivation and mouth lesions.

BPS also cause of excessive saliva production..
