People sometimes think that those involved in animal welfare are making money from rescued animals. But animal welfare is not a profit-making business.

Most people and organizations doing genuine welfare work already have their own source of income. Welfare is something they choose to do because animals are suffering, abandoned, injured, hungry, and unable to speak for themselves.

Donations are not “profit.” They help cover food, medicines, surgeries, vaccinations, shelter, transport, staff, and ongoing care for animals in need.

Behind every rescue are expenses, time, sleepless nights, difficult decisions, and a responsibility that often continues for months—or even years.

❤️ Animal welfare is not about earning from animals. It is about spending resources to give them another chance at life.

Instead of doubting every person trying to help, support genuine welfare work, ask for transparency, and become part of the cause.

🚨 EMERGENCY RESCUE — CAT HIT BY A BIKE 🐱💔

This injured cat was hit by a bike and rescued by a compassionate 14-year-old boy who could not leave him suffering on the road. Unfortunately, the boy cannot afford the veterinary treatment this cat urgently needs.

The cat has been presented to Aliyan Vets Foundation (AVF) and needs emergency examination, pain management, X-rays and further treatment depending on his injuries.

Please contribute whatever you can. Even a small donation can help us give this injured cat the best possible chance of recovery. 🙏

We understand how heartbreaking it is to lose a pet. But please remember: DMs and social media messages are NOT for medical emergencies.

Messages can be missed or answered late due to the high number of queries we receive. If your cat or dog is critically ill, injured, bleeding, having difficulty breathing, seizures, poisoning, or any other emergency, please take your pet to the nearest veterinary clinic immediately. Do not wait for a DM reply.

Social media is for communication and general guidance — not emergency veterinary treatment.

📍 For urgent cases, visit your nearest Aliyan Vets branch or veterinary emergency facility.

Our rescued blind cat is being vaccinated today, and her spot-on treatment for parasite protection has also been completed. She will be shifting to Aliyan Vets Foundation’s farm today, where she can live in a safer and more comfortable environment. 🏡🐾

Rescue is only the beginning. Cats with disabilities and special needs require quality food, vaccinations, parasite prevention, shelter, hygiene, veterinary care, and lifelong support.
