ANO BA ANG ARC- Australian Red Claw (Cherax quadricarinatus)
1. The Australian redclaw crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus) is a freshwater crustacean native to Australia. It is popular in aquaculture and as an aquarium species due to its hardiness and attractive appearance.

Physical Characteristics:
Typically has a blue-green to dark green body.
Features red or orange claws, which are more pronounced in males.
Can grow up to 25 cm (about 10 inches) in length.

2. Habitat:
Prefers warm, freshwater environments such as rivers, lakes, and ponds.
Thrives in areas with plenty of vegetation and shelter.

3. Diet:
Omnivorous, feeding on plant matter, detritus, and small aquatic animals.
In captivity, they can be fed a diet of pellets, vegetables, and protein sources.

4. Reproduction:
Breeds year-round in suitable conditions.
Females carry fertilized eggs under their tails until they hatch.

5. Aquaculture:
Valued for its fast growth rate and ability to adapt to various environments.
Cultivated for food in many regions outside Australia, including parts of Asia and the Americas.
