🐶👁️ FLUORESCEIN EYE STAIN TEST IN DOGS 👁️🐶

For first-time clients, we would like to clarify that upon arrival, it is important to proceed directly to the front counter so our staff can properly assist you and include you in the queue. This helps us ensure that all patients are attended to in an organized and timely manner. We understand that this may not have been clearly communicated during your visit, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion this caused.

We also take your feedback seriously regarding staff attentiveness, and we will be addressing this with our team to improve how we accommodate and monitor clients in the waiting area.

Regarding your kitten, we deeply sympathize with your loss. Please know that our team always strives to provide the best possible care, but some cases, especially with very young or rescued animals, can be medically challenging despite our efforts.

🐶 Demodex Canis in Dogs: What Pet Owners Should Know

Demodex canis is a microscopic mite that naturally lives on your dog’s skin. In healthy pets, it usually causes no harm. However, when a dog’s immune system is weakened, these mites can multiply and lead to demodectic mange.

🔍 Common signs to watch for:
• Hair loss (especially around the face, eyes, and paws)
• Redness or inflamed skin
• Scaly or crusty patches
• Secondary skin infections

⚠️ Is it contagious?
No — demodectic mange is not contagious to other pets or humans. It’s often linked to immune system issues rather than transmission.
