Feeding day for the green trees 🐍 These guys all get one appropriately sized mouse every 7-10 days. Funny how then adults fall right into a food coma while the juvenile at the last slide is begging for more 🍖

A milestone for every green tree python: ontogenetic color change 🔴➡️🟢 Over the course of 7 months (May-Dec 2024), I’ve been documenting the OCC of this maroon-neonate Biak chondro. Biaks have the most unpredictable and longest-lasting OCCs among the chondro localities and this one is no exception 🙌 So stoked for this guy!
