A Plea for Help

Peanut came to us in a critical condition. Upon assessment, she was hypothermic at 36.5°C, dehydrated, severely lethargic, and visibly uncomfortable. Her history revealed that she had little to no appetite and had not been drinking water for at least 3 days. On top of that Peanut was diagnosed with pyometra — a serious and potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus. Because of the severity of her condition, emergency surgery was performed that same night to give her the best possible chance of survival.

She is now on third day post operation and fighting to survive and urgently needs a blood transfusion. 🩸

We are asking the community to help us find a suitable feline type A blood donor. One donation could give Peanut the chance she desperately needs.

One moment changed Anika’s life forever. A hit-and-run left her with a severely shattered hind limb, as shown on her radiographs. The extent of the injury made limb salvage impossible, and the most compassionate option to relieve her pain and save her life was hind limb amputation.

Today, Anika proves that resilience is stronger than tragedy. As a proud three-legged mom, she has adapted beautifully and continues to live a happy, active, and loving life. Her journey reminds us that losing a limb does not mean losing the ability to run, play, love, and inspire.
