🐺💉 This awesome Siberian Husky came in today for fluid therapy after bloodwork showed slightly elevated creatinine levels.

Kidney problems can be silent in the early stages, which is why regular check-ups and early intervention are very important. Early supportive treatment like fluid therapy may help support kidney function and improve quality of life. 🩺✨

To all furparents:
✅ Monitor water intake and urination
✅ Routine blood chemistry is important especially for adult and senior pets
✅ Early detection can make a big difference

Stay strong handsome boy! ❤️

🎂🐾 HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY, MISSY! 🐾🎂

Our little furry brave princess turns 12 today! 👑🤍

Missy is truly one of the strongest little fighters we know. Despite facing so many challenges throughout her life — skin disease, periodontal disease, vestibular problems, skeletal concerns, kidney issues, blood parasite infection, and possible heart and neurological conditions — she continues to inspire everyone around her with her courage and happiness every single day. ✨

As her furmom lovingly says,
“Naku Missy, nasa sayo na lahat.”
Yet despite all of these, Missy still chooses to fight… day by day. 🥹

She continues to eat, drink, urinate, defecate, and most importantly — continue living life with love and happiness. Her little wagging tail and bright spirit remind us that strength does not always roar. Sometimes, it comes in a tiny white fluffy princess with the bravest heart. 🤍🐶

Today, we celebrate not only your birthday, Missy…
but also your resilience, your sweetness, and the joy you bring to everyone around you. 🌸

From your Qualivets family,
we wish you more comfortable days, more happy memories, more cuddles, more treats, and more wagging tails ahead. 🐾🎉

Happy Birthday, brave princess! 👑💕
You are deeply loved.🥰

✨ Familiar with this view?
Yes — this was once our former pet shop area at Qualivets Veterinary Clinic 🐾

To provide a more accommodating, calming, and welcoming environment for your little furry family members, we are officially transforming it into our NEW MAIN RECEPTION AREA. 🤍

The walls are now freshly painted, elegant wood-look PVC wall panels have been installed, and the pin lights are already up — slowly bringing our vision to life. ✨

This is just the beginning of the biggest transformation of Qualivets Veterinary Clinic, all with one goal in mind:
to give both pets and furparents a better clinic experience. 🐶🐱

We are beyond excited to show you the final look soon.
Are you excited too? 👀🐾

Summer cut? ☀️✂️
This is what it looks like — longer than a semi kalbo cut but shorter than a puppy cut 🐶✨

Perfect for our hot weather to help pets feel more comfortable and easier to maintain. Regular grooming also helps prevent matting, skin problems, and overheating especially this summer season 🌞

Make sure our furry babies stay clean, fresh, and comfy 💖

🐾 Classic Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) 🐾

This is one of the most common skin problems we see in dogs and cats. Even a single flea bite can trigger intense itching, redness, hair thinning, scabbing, and skin irritation especially on the back and tail area.

⚠️ When it comes to fleas, treatment should NOT stop after just one dose.
To properly break the flea life cycle, anti-flea medications should be given for at least 3 consecutive months or longer depending on severity and environment.

✅ Treat all pets in the household
✅ Clean bedding and surroundings regularly
✅ Continue monthly prevention even if fleas are no longer visible

Remember:
“No fleas seen” does not always mean “no fleas present.” 🐜

“Maggot season” usually goes with mango season 🥭🪰

During hot summer months, flies multiply rapidly and wounds can become infested with maggots in a very short time.

For outdoor dogs, always check for:
• Moist dermatitis
• Small wounds or scratches
• Tail area
• Skin folds
• Ears and neck area

Because what starts as a small moist wound can quickly turn into a serious maggot infestation.

Please keep pets clean, dry, and if possible indoors during extreme heat season. 🐶☀️

🐾❤️ SUCCESS STORY OF OUR DEAR SERGIO ❤️🐾

Sergio came to our clinic after suffering a severe vehicular accident causing extensive trauma to his abdomen. Upon assessment, he was diagnosed with:

▪️ Abdominal hernia
▪️ Luxated hip
▪️ Lacerated abdominal muscles
▪️ Severe bruising and internal trauma

One of the biggest blessings in this case was that his urethra and urinary bladder remained intact despite the severity of the accident. 🙏

With the love and trust of his very supportive furparents, they approved the extensive surgery needed to save Sergio’s life. Our surgical team led by Doc Nick performed multiple complicated procedures including:

✔️ Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO)
✔️ Splenectomy
✔️ Hernia repair
✔️ Repair of damaged abdominal muscles and tissues

The journey was not easy. A day after surgery, Sergio experienced multiple seizures and his condition became very critical. There were moments of uncertainty, but this brave fighter never gave up. 💪🐶

Slowly but surely, Sergio continued to heal day by day. After 3 weeks of confinement, monitoring, medications, and intensive supportive care, Sergio was finally able to go home. 🏡❤️

Today, hearing from his owners that Sergio can now urinate and p**p voluntarily is one of the greatest rewards for our team. 🙏

Thank you to Sergio’s loving family for trusting us throughout this difficult journey. Cases like this remind us why we continue fighting for every patient that comes through our doors.

Please continue praying for Sergio’s full recovery. ❤️🐾

More comfort for our patients, clients, and team 🐾❄️
Now installing additional air conditioning units to create a cooler, cleaner, and more comfortable environment inside our clinic.

Because quality patient care also means providing comfort during recovery and confinement. 💙🐶🐱

Thank you for your continued trust and support as we continue improving our facility for you and your beloved pets. 🙏
