: Two male dogs underwent castration today at the City Veterinary Office (CVO), performed by Head Veterinarian Dr.
Eunice Jumadiao Alcantara with assistance from Dr. Rogiel Mahait.

In addition to the scheduled sterilization procedures, Dr. Alcantara and Dr. Mahait also attended to walk-in clients, providing basic veterinary services such as anti-rabies vaccination, deworming, veterinary consultations, and other routine services offered by the office.

LOOK: A total of 21 domestic pets were successfully registered and vaccinated against rabies on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, as part of the ongoing Dog Registration and Anti-Rabies Vaccination campaign in the city’s barangays.

The CVO team conducted the activity in Villa Diana and SM Care Housing in Brgy. 101, in compliance with the city’s mandated animal registration and anti-rabies vaccination requirements under the City Animal Code Ordinance.

: A total of four male cats were castrated and one female cat was spayed on Thursday, August 20, at the City Veterinary Office (CVO) as part of the scheduled pet sterilization program.

CVO Chief Veterinarian Dr. Eunice Jumadiao Alcantara and Dr. Rogiel Mahait performed the sterilization procedures.

Aside from the scheduled operations, Dr. Alcantara and Dr. Mahait also attended to the consultation needs of walk-in clients and facilitated the delivery of other basic veterinary services throughout the day.
