With heavy hearts, we share the passing of 𝑶𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓, who was found lifeless today. Alongside Tangerine, 𝑶𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓 was more than just a familiar face, he was a cherished part of the Office of the Student Development and Services, bringing comfort, joy, and companionship to everyone who crossed his path.

Though their pawprints may no longer grace our halls, their memories will forever remain in our hearts. 𝑶𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓 and 𝑻𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒆 will always be remembered as beloved members of our OSDS family.

Run free, 𝑶𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓. Reunited once again with 𝑻𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒆 across the Rainbow Bridge. 🕊️🐾

You will be forever missed, 𝑻𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒆. Earlier this morning, 𝑻𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒆 was found lifeless. Our sassy girl, whom everyone adored whenever they visited the Student Services Building, will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Run free, 𝑻𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒆! We hope the Rainbow Bridge gives you all the treats, love, and happiness that we tried to give you here. Today, we mourn the passing of the beloved cat of the College of Teacher Education (CoTEd), 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖.

You were more than just a quiet presence beneath the trees and along the corridors—you were comfort on long days, a gentle pause between classes, a small but steady reminder that warmth can exist even in the busiest spaces. Someone we can rely to and talk to without being judged back.

Though you’ve left the grounds you once roamed so freely, your memory lingers in every corner you claimed as your own.

𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑭𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓: 𝑨 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 🐾

📌On February 23, 2026, 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙠𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨 were found in EDUC Building Room 110, possibly abandoned by their mother. Small, vulnerable, and in need of care. 𝙈𝙨. 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙤, a third-year BSED Science student, took the first step in caring for them. She regularly fed and cleaned the kittens, making sure they were safe and comfortable.

The 𝙎𝙤𝙧𝙎𝙐𝘼𝙒𝙎 later volunteered to help with their feeding and overall care. The kittens are now safely fostered and brought to their temporary home while waiting to be adopted into loving families. 🏡🤍

We, the 𝙎𝙤𝙧𝙎𝙐𝘼𝙒𝙎 family, would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝙈𝙨. 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙤 and the 𝘽𝙎𝙀𝘿 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 for taking action. We also thank the 𝙎𝙤𝙧𝙎𝙐𝘼𝙒𝙎 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨 who helped care for the kittens, and most especially 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙀𝙙𝙣𝙖 𝙈𝙞𝙟𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙨, SorSUAWS Adviser, for guiding the volunteers and providing the materials needed for the kittens. ❤️🤍

This rescue reminds us that small acts of kindness, when done by many people, truly make a difference. Although the world can be difficult, it becomes better because of kindness. 🐾❤️

🚨 𝑯𝑬𝑳𝑷 𝑨 𝑹𝑬𝑺𝑪𝑼𝑬𝑫 𝑪𝑨𝑻! 🐾

A cat was rescued by 𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘰 𝘛𝘦𝘯𝘢 and 𝘔𝘴. 𝘚𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘢 𝘔𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯 (English Teacher of SorSU LHS). The cat was found abandoned inside a travel bag in an empty lot near Imperial Subdivision, Pangpang, Sorsogon City.

The cat is suffering from 𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙥𝙨𝙚 and needs emergency surgery tomorrow. The estimated cost for surgery and medicine is ₱5,000–₱7,000 (as advised by Doc. Billy). Any help, big or small, can make a life-saving difference.
