Meet Tilapia, a brave little cat who came to us at Rural PetCare Veterinary Clinic experiencing severe eye pain, swelling, and anorexia due to a critical eye condition.

After a thorough evaluation, our veterinary team determined that an enucleation (surgical removal of the eye) was the best and most compassionate choice to relieve Tilapia's chronic pain and prevent further complications.

As you can see in the "After" photo, Tilapia is now healing beautifully, looking much more comfortable, and is finally free from the severe discomfort that was holding them back. Pets can lead wonderfully happy, active, and normal lives with just one eye!

A case of PROPTOSIS‼️

This furbaby, got into a fight causing the protrusion of his right eyeball. He underwent enucleation, a surgical procedure wherein the eyeball is removed due to severe damage of eye structures.

To furparents out there, please be mindful of your furbabies, even the smallest dog fights can lead to serious injuries!

If you observe such case to your pets, bring them to the nearest Veterinary clinic immediately.
