A New Chapter Begins
The German Shepherd Dog Federation (GSDF) proudly concludes the successful GSDF National Working Dog Training Camp 2026, held at the beautiful Aruna Beach Resort in Oton, Iloilo.
Over the past several days, handlers, trainers, breeders, helpers, and working dog enthusiasts from across the Philippines gathered with one shared purposeโto learn, to grow, and to help build a stronger future for working dogs in our country.
Under the expert guidance of SV Trainer Michael Debuck (Austria), together with Karina Reichmann, participants engaged in intensive classroom discussions and practical field training covering:

๐พ Puppy development and foundation work
๐พ Drive building and motivation
๐พ Bite-work progression and helper education
๐พ Reading canine character and temperament
๐พ Problem-solving through proper training techniques
๐พ Developing better handlers, trainers, and future helpers
Throughout the camp, one message remained clear:
A great working dog is not created by forceโit is developed through knowledge, patience, consistency, correct genetics, and a well-educated handler.
Beyond the training field, friendships were formed, experiences were shared, and a community united by a common passion grew even stronger.
This training camp was never intended to be simply another event.
It marks the beginning of GSDFโs long-term commitment to advancing working dog education, responsible breeding, helper development, and the continuous growth of knowledgeable handlers and trainers throughout the Philippines.
