FARMING WILL TEST YOUR FAITH
TO THE PERSON PRAYING FOR A BREAKTHROUGH ON THE FARM
There will be seasons where nothing makes sense.
You plant, and the rain delays.
You feed well, and disease still comes.
You work hard, and the market crashes.
You do everything right, and it still goes wrong.
And in that season, agriculture will ask you one question:
"Will you still believe?"
5 TRUTHS ABOUT FAITH AND FARMING:
1. GOD GIVES THE INCREASE, YOU DO THE WORK
He sends the rain. You prepare the land.
He gives the wisdom. You apply it daily.
He gives the strength. You wake up at 5am.
Faith without work is empty.
Work without faith is heavy.
You need both.
2. DELAY IS NOT DENIAL
Just because the seed is underground doesn’t mean it’s dead.
Just because you can’t see growth doesn’t mean nothing is happening.
Underground seasons are holy seasons.
God is working even when your farm looks dry.
3. YOUR CHARACTER IS THE REAL HARVEST
The farm is teaching you patience.
The losses are teaching you wisdom.
The waiting is teaching you dependence.
The setbacks are teaching you resilience.
One day you’ll realize: God wasn’t just growing crops. He was growing YOU.
4. DON’T COMPARE YOUR SEASON
Their harvest time is not your harvest time.
Their breakthrough is not your breakthrough.
God’s timing is perfect, even when it’s painful.
Water your own soil.
5. QUITTING IN A DRY SEASON ROBS YOUR WET SEASON
The farmers who are blessed today stayed.
Through drought. Through debt. Through doubt. Through tears.
They stayed when no one was watching.
They stayed when nothing was working.
And now they are eating from trees they planted in hard seasons.
HOW TO STAND IN HARD SEASONS:
1. PRAY AND PLAN
Talk to God. Then open your notebook.
Faith and strategy go together.
2. SPEAK LIFE
Your words shape your farm.
Don’t speak defeat over your land.
Speak growth. Speak provision. Speak hope.
3. STAY IN COMMUNITY
Don’t isolate.
Find farmers who will pray with you and push you.
Iron sharpens iron.
4. REMEMBER PAST FAITHFULNESS
God who helped you before will help you again.
The same God who brought you this far will not leave you now.
FINAL WORD:
Farming will break you to build you.
It will humble you to lift you.
It will empty you to fill you.
But if you hold on...
The same ground that made you cry will make you testify.
The same soil that buried your seed will bring forth your harvest.
Keep planting.
Keep praying.
Keep believing.
The harvest is coming.
