The sterilisation campaign is done ✅

4 girls sterilized. 1 pregnant.
At least 20+ puppies who won’t be born into hunger, sickness, and disease.

Bia had already given birth to more than four litters. Many of her puppies died from parvo.
⠀
Kimi was pregnant with five puppies.
⠀
Kulot had already had one litter.
⠀
Panda had never been pregnant.
⠀
Thanks to your support, none of them will ever have another litter.
⠀
We also vaccinated against rabies all 5 dogs my friend Caro Line looks after. Some of them we’d already sterilized in a previous campaign.

✨ MUCCA TRANSFORMATION ✨

Mucca was one of the first dogs I treated for mange when I arrived in Siquijor. I went to check on her today, and she finally looks like a real cow… healthy, strong, and with a shiny coat. 🐮✨

It took a full three months to get here, but she’s finally thriving. Hard to believe that not long ago, she looked like she was about to die.

🐾 Not over yet

A few days after chemo, I went back to see Rambo…
and I couldn’t believe it.

He was full of energy.
Running on the beach like nothing had happened.

For a moment, I thought maybe he was okay.

But a few days later… everything changed again.

The tumor burst.
He was in pain.
Tired. Exhausted.

All we could do was wait.

The vet told us we needed a full week
to understand if the treatment had worked.

So we went back.

They cleaned his nose…
and that’s when we saw it.

The tumor had shrunk.

It was working.

We continued with the next round of chemo,
and a few days later, he started eating again.

That’s when I knew… he had a real chance.

🐾 A Fighting Chance

When I first found him…
it didn’t look hopeful.

Abandoned.
Barely eating.
Suffering.
A massive tumor on his nose.

But Linda, who runs a small grocery stand,
fed him every single day.
Even when no one else would.

And when the diagnosis felt heavy,
my friend Julia pushed us to try something different.

One shot.
One chance.
Even if the odds were low.

That was the lesson for me:

Even when someone looks like they’re at the end…
they still deserve a fighting chance.

Sometimes hope starts with one person
who refuses to give up.

In one week, we’ll know if it worked.
