What is community cat?
A community cat is unowned free roaming cats that live outdoors and may be feral, friendly or anywhere inbetween. Community cat rely on compassionate people for help.

How compassionate people can help?

Educate others about the importance of CSNVR.

7 Days Pet Carrier Training (15mins/day)
Day 1 -- 2 snack zone, door off treats only inside
Day 3 -- meals in carrier breakfast in, door still off
Day 4 -- longer closes, 5-10 sec. sprinkle treats
Day 5 -- 6 micro lift, lift 3-5 sec. down; treats
Day 7 -- Short hallway ride; 1 min. walk then party

Practice your patience, do what it takes. Because being a rescuer doesn't happen overnight.

Observe your pet/rescues; if stressed step back one day (applicable for dogs/cats)

It’s that time of the year again.

But while we celebrate with fireworks, many animals spend the night terrified.

Every loud bang sends dogs and cats into panic—trembling, hiding, or running for their lives.

For strays and rescued animals who have already known fear and abandonment, this night feels like danger all over again.

They don’t understand the celebration.

They only feel the fear.

This New Year’s Eve, let’s choose kindness.

Keep pets safe indoors, secure your surroundings, and show a little compassion to the strays in your area.

Dear Santa,
Every year I always wish for the stray animals out there for safe places to sleep,
for full tummies instead of empty streets,
for gentle hands instead of fear..

I wish they find people who will see them,
care for them, love them,
and choose kindness even when no one is watching.

If you can’t give them homes yet,
please give them protection,
good people on their path,
and another day to survive.

That’s all I ask Santa

Because every life no matter how small deserves warmth this Christmas.

Ancient Egyptians loved cats so deeply that harming one could cost a person their life. Cats weren’t just companions, they were protectors believed to guard homes, bring good luck, and keep families safe.

Because they were linked to the goddess Bastet, the symbol of protection and family, people treated them with almost royal respect, letting them roam freely, feeding them well, and honoring them as a vital part of the home.

When a cat passed away, families mourned openly, just like we do today, showing how powerful the human-cat bond has always been.

And even after thousands of years, nothing has really changed, cats still bring comfort, safety, and a feeling of home that people have cherished since ancient times.

In Japan, Hirotaka Saito, a 54-year-old former businessman, traded his Ferrari and shut down his company to launch Wansfree, a free sanctuary in Yaizu, Shizuoka Prefecture, for abused and "problematic" dogs—those too aggressive for most shelters. Twelve years ago, amid financial ruin, Saito planned to end his life, but his 70kg dog sensed despair and blocked the door, saving him in a moment of raw loyalty. Grateful, he vowed, "A dog saved me. Now it’s my turn to devote my life to them."

Wansfree rejects chains, housing 40 dogs and 8 cats with trauma-fueled bites—Saito endures frequent attacks, his hands scarred and swollen, yet he persists with endless patience. "They didn’t choose this life—they’re victims of human neglect," he says, focusing on rehabilitation through love. He plans to expand to 300 dogs by 2028, pouring his remaining fortune into the cause: "I’ll spend all my money on dogs."

Saito's story inspires global support, reminding us that one act of kindness can ripple into redemption—for man and hound alike.
